I just listened to the cd (deluxe version) and it was not at all what I was expecting! I like like 5 songs out of the whole cd, single ladies, halo, diva, if I were a boy, and broken hearted girl. Overall I give the cd a 21/2 and I am such a huge Beyonce fan. But I think she could have done so much better.

I listened to the whole albumn a while ago (the Deluxe Version) and I love it! I gave it 5 stars. The only songs I thought maybe didn’t belong were Ave Maria, Satellites, and Smash Into You. The rest of the songs I felt were amazing. I understand that she wanted to do more ballads but I’m just thinking about the tour and what that will be like with so many slow jams. I think Halo is beautiful and Radio is not a filler!! That is one of my favorites on the album. It’s a feel good song, that takes you back to your childhood, when you were too young to go to parties and the DJ felt like your best friend because he knew exactly what you wanted to hear, when you needed to hear it, you truly were in love with your radio. I got the idea behind the song. Suprisingly Diva isn’t one of my favorites. I wanted so badly to like this song, but it’s just not there, kinda the same way I feel about A Milli. Overall the album is great to me, definitely worth the money when it comes out and true Beyonce fans will never be disappointed with anything that she does anyway. My favorites though are Halo, Disappear, Ego, Hello, Broken Hearted Girl, Radio, Sweet Dreams, and Scared of Lonely, basically the whole thing.

Finally a Review of this album.
Anywho. I think Beyonce’s target audience this time around was that of Rihanna’s fanbase. Rihanna reaches all types of people, and although Beyonce is more well-known, her music has got her stuck in the more urban-side of her fanbase.
If you listen closely to her ballads, her pronunciation isn’t the same as her Dangerously in Love/Destiny’s Child days.
I love the album though. I give it 5 Stars.
Def. an upgrade from B’Day.
