Since Beyonce decided to call herself “Sasha Fierce,” the internet has been buzzing and downright clowning the singer for doing such a thing. But why can’t she? Everybody else is doing it! Take Lil’ Wayne for example. How many names does he have? You got Dwayne, Wayne, Lil Wayne, Weezy, Wizzle, Wizzard, and however else you can mix-up the phonetics of his name. And what about Diddy, huh? Sean John, Sean John Combs, Sean Combs, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy Combs, Dumb Dump Diddy. And that just covers the FIRST decade of his career. Who knows how many there’ll be when he hits the golden ages. Kanye has Ye and Yeezy, Ludacris goes by “Chris” and Luda sometimes, and T.I. calls his alter-ego T.I.P. So we ask again, why not Beyonce?

While we appreciate Mad TV’s use of satire with morphing our friend Weezy into their mascot, but we have to note a typo in their quote: “The Rise and Fall of a Rap Star.” They obviously mean “The Rise and Sharp Shoot Upwards of a Rap Star.” But it’s cool, we all make typos here and there. Nobody’s perfect. Not even editors of a nationally published magazine.

We’re not even sure why this is considered news, but Chris Brown reportedly spent $800 on some sexy underwear for girlfriend Rihanna at Ariane Lingerie in Paddington, Australia while on tour in the country/continent. According to reports, the two spent about 30 minutes inside of the store before making the big purchase.

Yawn … wake us up when the sex tape comes out!

Rapper Kanye West is alleging that the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, UK were fixed. He claims that the only reason he won the “Ultimate Urban” award over friend Lil Wayne just because “he was there,” suggesting that he didn’t even deserve to win that award. He also questioned Britney Spears’ win over Rihanna for “Act of 2008.”

“I won nothing last year and I’d brought out ‘Stronger’,” he told The Sun. “This year, just because I was there, I won. This was Lil’ Wayne’s year … Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious?”

Hey, at least he didn’t jump on stage this time and snatch someone else’s award out of their hand and yell “mines!”

Former 3LW member Naturi Naughton is featured on the latest issue of KING magazine. The former little woman plays Lil’ Kim in the upcoming Notorious BIG biopic – in theaters January 2008!

Def Jam’s leading boss Kanye West, fourth effort 808’s & Heartbreaks, has been leaking at a rapid rate. The latest track to leak, “Amazing” featuring, Young Jeezy is actually really good. I’m really anxious to get my hands on the actual album to experience what Kanye has put together. He’s been through so much this year. Support this man… PURCHASE, PURCHASE, PURCHASE!!!

J Record’s recording artist Jamie Foxx has been working on his junior effort. Currently, the album is untitled and several tracks have surfaced. The most recent that has surfaced is, “Baby Baby, Damn.” Foxx, delivers a hot steamy filler. This is all my opinion. I don’t really see this track being a single. It’s defiantly just a decent filler track. Hell, it might not even be on the album? Who knows. Regardless, I did enjoy Jamie’s sophomore effort, “Unpredictable.” What do you think?
