LAS VEGAS // TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9TH 2008 » Pop singer Mariah Carey threw a birthday party for her husband Nick Cannon at PURE in Vegas Tuesday night, which would’ve been a pretty sweet gesture had she sent out the damn invitations. Where the hell was everybody? They couldn’t even get the has-beens to show up? Good idea in theory, Mariah, just make sure you follow through with it next time! I mean, Birdman gave the love of his life $1,00,000 and you couldn’t get not one A-list celebrity (or any, for that matter) to show up to your man’s party? You oughta be ashamed of yourself!

MIAMI // TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7TH 2008 » I’m gonna do something different, and go against the norm. I’m not gonna make any jokes about Lil’ Wayne & Baby and their highly disturbing “relationship” as father and son. But I am gonna remind you that they kiss each other in the mouth. No seriously … they do. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Dwayne celebrated his 26th g’day in Miami Tuesday night, and guess what his “daddy” gave him as a gift? $1,000,000. We’re in the middle of recession and folks are handing out cash like it’s candy. Can someone please help me understand this? More flicks from the shindig after the break.

It took him long enough, but Rick Ross has finally admitted to his past! After TheSmokingGun.com dug up some old documents containing the Miami rapper’s full government name and social security number, which happened to detail of him being a correctional officer for the state of Florida back in the day, people began to question the rapper’s credibility. And up until recently, the “Boss” (as he calls himself) had neither confirmed nor denounced the allegations:

“Yes, it’s me. I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my CDs,” Ross says in the latest issue of Don Diva Magazine. “I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a n*gga, that’s first and foremost.”

“I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a ni*gga an explanation. When I’m making my music and I’m talking about blow, it’s because I did it. When I say that I’m rich off cocaine, it’s because I did it. Those are the street principals that apply.”

We don’t believe you William, you need more people!
