According to our demographics, 35% of GOT’s readers are between the ages of 18 and 34. If you are a legal United States citizen, then there is no reason (or excuse for that matter) for you not to be registered to vote. You have up until this Saturday (October 4th 2008) to get off of your lazy behind and register! If you visit www.VOTEFORCHANGE.COM all you do is fill out a simple form online and they register for you! This takes all of what … 3 minutes? (depending on the speed of your computer). So what the hell are you waiting on? If Obama doesn’t get into office because of the 55 million Americans not registered to vote, then we don’t deserve to have him as our president. And that’s the truth.
Oh, and by the way, if you turn 18 on or before November 4th, then you are still eligible to vote in this year’s election. So if you are currently 17 years old and your 18th birthday isn’t until November 4th 2008, then you can still register NOW (even before you actually turn 18). SO DO IT!!
