Here is the Gossip On This video premiere of Ne-Yo‘s latest single Ft. Jamie Foxx and Fabolous, “She Got Her Own” (Miss Independent Remix), from the re-release of his album The Year of the Gentleman. Like the Miss. Independent Video, this one features celebrity cameos from EVE, Estelle, Keyshia Cole, Malika and Khadijah Haqq (The Twins from ATL), Teyana Taylor, and Jill Marie Jones (Toni from Girlfriends)!     Ugh. This doesn’t have the same impact as Ne-Yo’s original version. It was more impactful (not quite a word, I know) to see women in the workspace rather than floating in mid-air. This is more of a part two than a remix. I am just not feeling the lyrics, the rhythm, or anything. It’s nice to see them highlighting the achievements of black women, but this just doesn’t do it for me.

    This song is hot!! The oringial and the remix. It insipres me as a woman, and lets me know that not all men are obvilous to the fact that some women are really independent. Hopefully it will inspire other women to keep doing their thang..or to get on their jobs!!

    the beat is hoooottt! i like teyana in it.. but the lady from the girlfriends and eve and the two atl twins was a shocker.
