Chris Brown on Jordin Sparks: “There’s No Connection”

American Idol Jordin Sparks has publicly made it known that she has a crush on fellow teen singer Chris Brown. But unfortunately for her, she’s traveling down a one-way street. This is what Chris Brown had to say at Fashion Rocks:

“I heard that [she has a crush on me]. But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”

Ouch! I know one person who won’t be quick to name off their crushes in the future…

    Seriously? Chris Brown could have saved the girl some face and say she’s nice or something. He didn’t have to diss her like that…Damn the girl just got on the scene. What’s he tryin to do tear the competition down for Rihanna?

    no connection WTF, he has more connection with jordin than he does with rihanna, that girl don’t even know half about him. rihanna is just using him but that dude is too damm ignorant to see it.

    Yeah when I first read this I thought it was a little harsh too. He could have just said she was a nice girl or w/e laughed and said he was flattered and left it at that.

    Why would rihanna be using chris when she was running things with 2 albums out her 1st year that did pretty good?? And by the time the 3rd was released everyone knew her name. And not because of jayz either. chris browns sales weren’t bad but he appealed to teenage girls first and foremost and most of them hate rihanna for one reason and I think we all kno what it isz lol chris however has crossed over into the pop scene with his recent releases and the new leaked songs all over the internet. He even helped pen rihanna’s single “disturbia” which isz doin reeeeally well…as expected. So who’s using who?

    i think chris brown was too hash and really needs to think who is his type, who does he want to be with 19(chris) to 20-21(rihanna) or 19 to 18(jordan sparks), rihanna is to old.

    and I know 4 sure some of them r not true

    jordin is a disgrace to women, its not bad to ve a crush on some1, but wen u know 4 sure dat he’s hooked up, u let him go. jordin knows chris love rihanna so much n he’s not ready 2 let her go, so jordin shud look 4 another guy n stop been naughty…..     i just love him 2 death ever since 2005 or 2006. And i know

    Jordin Sparks is really just an attention grabber. She wanted everyone to know she had a crush on Chris Brown. Well you know what..take a number and maybe you will be notified. She has a decent voice but she’s not as great as some people like to think that she is. I’m sorry if she’s your idol or if you like her or something but it’s true. I think the last true American Idol was Carrie Underwood anyway, although i like the davids from last season.
