Uhm, wow. Rihanna was not the star of the VMAs. You always manage to get it wrong, Dustin. Always. Tsk. Tsk.

i don’t care what anyone says christina killed it. and i like waynes perfomance and the ti-rihanna colabo. and kanye as always took it to another place. i was speechless after his set.

Maybe Christina Aguilera killed it as far as overall “performance” goes (theatrics, dancers, her dancing a bit). But she certainly didn’t kill a damn thing when it comes to singing because she was lipsynching. Yo, even Rihanna who is in no way comparable to Christina sang live. What’s the excuse for Aguilera?

PS! Yes, the VMAs suck now. The days when Britney and *NSYNC were scheduled to perform in one night was the golden era. Those were performances a lot of people looked forward to. It’s all hype nowadays and the only reason I tuned in was because of the slight hope of seeing Britney perform again. Next year, I’m going to do like last year: not watching.
