SAINT MICHAEL, BARBADOS // SUNDAY, AUGUST 10TH 2008 » Chris Brown & Rihanna were both spotted at a local Barbadian airport arriving to Rihanna’s homeland yesterday. Seems like these two are taking big steps now. Chris Brown is actually socializing with Rihanna’s family but then again they are “best friends”! They were greeted but some of Rihanna’s relatives including her little brother who was nearby. Check out the rest of the pics after the cut.

The USA Senior Men’s Team wins another consecutive game, this time against China. The game took place in Beijing. Although China was at home, USA still came out on top. This game will definitely go down in history. China’s secret weapon, Yao Ming, didn’t affect USA’s performance. Team USA took the victory by 31 points (101-70). Kobe Bryant even compare the night to one he’s never experienced before in his life:

“I’ve never felt an environment quite like this,” Kobe continued “I’ve played in many big games, but the energy tonight was different. I think they knew that history was being made tonight, obviously, it was a proud moment for their country as it is for ours. You could feel the electricity.”

Before Bernie Mac passed on to the other side, he was surrounded by his closest family members, according to his sister-in-law.

His wife, Rhonda, and daughter, Je’Niece, were at his bedside, and his wife’s sister, Mary Ann Grossett, reveals that in his final moments, Mac “struggled for his life,” adding, “He couldn’t breathe.” She tells People.com, “He opened his eyes on his own and looked at Rhonda. She called his name, and he opened his eyes and nodded to her. She smiled at him and told him, ‘Don’t leave me… I’m waiting for you to come back.’ He shrugged his shoulders, and she said that’s when she knew he was tired.

He signaled to her that his body was tired. “(The doctors) were working on him. They tried to resuscitate him two times. One time he came back for about an hour. Then he went into cardiac arrest the
second time.” And Grossett reveals her sister is “devastated”, but adds, “What she will treasure the most is the fact that she was his wife for 30 years – and not only was she his wife, but she was his best friend. She’s going to miss him dearly.” ( SOURCE: WENN )

Mac’s public funeral service is scheduled for this Saturday (August 16th) in Chicago, Illinois at House of Hope.

Finally … some good news! Yung Berg, best known as the guy who doesn’t like “dark butts,” has been arrested on a series of drug and weapons charges. The rapper, whose real name is Christian Ward, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing following a police investigation on Saturday.

According to reports, Yung Fag and four of his boys got into a dispute with a limo driver in New York over the weekend, prompting a call to authorities. This type of behavior comes as no surprise seeing as Yung Fag is signed to DMX’s label. And y’all know how he rolls…
