Nas Joins Protesters At Fox News In NYC

Nas, who currently has the #1 album in the country with over 180,000 units sold, is protesting Fox News’s coverage of presidential hopeful Barack Obama. The rapper says that while he supports Obama and his vision, he hasn’t officially endorse the candidate and claims no political party has approached him for further support. But that hasn’t stopped him from becoming a member of the activist groups MoveOn.org and ColorofChange.org in an effort to deliver more than 600,000 petitions to the network’s New York City headquarters earlier today.

Bow Wow Repairs Relationship With JD, Talks New Filming Projects, and Reveals New Album Info

Bow Wow is currently working on his seventh recording album, Pedigree, which is set to be released in stores this Fall 2008. He already has a single out featuring Soulja Boy titled “♫ Marco Polo”. His long time male role model and producer, Jermaine Dupri, was ejected in some of Bow Wow’s previous projects but Bow Wow has repaired those “misunderstandings”:

“He’s my father,” Bow Wow said. “He’s the dude when you in the crib and have your arguments, you move out the crib. … But me and JD are back tight again. We hanging out every day. I’m putting him on this song Swizz Beatz did for me called ‘Big Bank Take Little Bank.’ I’m trying to throw him on there right now. Y’all gonna see JD on the album even if he just gets on there and says, ‘Y’all know what this is!’ He’s gonna be a part of it even if I have to drag him.”

The Obama Family (from L to R: Sasha, 7, Barack, Michelle, and Malia, 10) is featured on the cover of the latest issue of People Magazine, set to hit stands August 4th. The mag claims to have exclusive photos and will apparently dive into the personal lives of the family. I love these guys, and I can’t wait until they’re in the white house!

The very first WNBA brawl involved on of the most respected WNBA teams, The Los Angeles Sparks, in yesterday’s game against the Detroit Shocks. Candace Parker, Lisa Leslie and Plnette Pearson were all involved in a brawl and were ejected from the court moments after. The Los Angeles Sparks also took the victory of the game by 3 points (84-81).
