CNN will be showing a nationally televised tv special on a story they’ve appropriately titled, “Black In America” this Wednesday (July 23rd) and Thursday (Jul 24th). It doesn’t matter what color you are,  or the area of the country you live in, or what social class you or your family is in, or even how much money you have in the bank, I encourage each and every one of you to either set up those DVRs or sit down with your loved ones and watch this documentary. There is a lot of information in it that will help everyone (even us African Americans) understand a little bit better about what it feels to be BLACK IN AMERICA.

Rapper Nas and his wifey, singer Kelis, were spotted by the paps as they left Villa nightclub Thursday night in Los Angeles. Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and Kevin Garnett of the Boton Celtics were spotted leaving the club as well. Not sure what’s going on with Kelis, but aside from that glum look on her face, she looks okay from the eyebrows down to her shins. Now below the shins, and above her eyebrows … not sure what’s going on in those departments. I don’t think she knows either. Maybe that’s why she’s sad. At least she took the time to sign an autograph for a fan … how nice!
