MISSYD1215 I so completely co-sign with you. Not about the souljah boy beeing 17 so his music is immature part, cuz I think soulja boy just sucks, cuz a lot of young ppl can spit, like myself :) even since I was like 17 or younger to where I’m 20 now! But I agree that Ice-T is aiming at the wrong ppl. Personally, these whack MCs might try harder to put out ill lyrics if the crap was selling!! If you put out some Illmatic lyrics and flop, but could make Crank That and be multiplatinum, wouldn’t you do that!??!?!?! DUH!!!!! Especially coming out the hood, you need money, you tryna just live! Who could blame him! I think getting mad at Soulja Boy is a waste, and getting mad at the fans is a waste too!! They just enjoying the music! Times r tough, they need something to have fun to and escape the real world for a bit! Me personally, I don’t buy that shit ass music, I click with Nas, Eminem, maybe Jay, Common and such artists. to D.J., im not saying a 17 year old is not capable of mature music, im giving soulja boy the benefit of the doubt, saying that since he is 17 he probably hasnt fully matured yet, therefore his music is not mature.

I love Kanye West. He’s on of my favorite rappers. But I couldn’t disagree with him more on this. Soulja Boy is garbage. If it isn’t just his music, it’s his attitude. He’s seventeen years old and thinks he runs everything. What’s worse is that he’s supposedly a role model to kids? Soulja Boy is just barely able to buy his own CD for cryin’ out loud!
