On this edition of “Who Owns the Track?” We have Jesse McCartney, whose album recently dropped, and Leona Lewis singing both their versions of the hit “Bleeding Love.” You know, I always thought that this song was meant for a boy and — though Leona did do the song some justice — I think I like Jesse’s version better! However, it’s really not totally up to me now isn’t it? Who Own the Track? [Sidenote: Thank you, Devin, for the heads up!]

    I think he just covered this because he was involved with writing it.. so he had the rights to sing it.

    Either way, Leona Lewis wins without a doubt.

    I dunno, i might be the first to stick up for Jesse…… both the songs are different, the only similarity is the lyrics… I personally like Jesse’s better, I like the beat a LOT more, and he rides it well. I think to SOME degree, though not a large one, he’s a little underrated. BUT i could see why people like Leona’s version too. I won’t hate!

    I think Jesse is dfinitely underated right now. He’s latest CD is rather good. As for the track, they both do an awesome job. Jesse’s is more produced, while Leona kills it with vocals. I wouldn’t mind listening to either one of them.

    I can’t decide. I like both. The studio work for Jesse’s is hot but Leona’s vocals are amazing! Love both!

    I LOVE Jesse’s version. It kinda reminds me of the music you would hear in a old skool jukebox. But I also LOVE Leona’s version. Both of them did a great job.

    Jesse wrote the song lol. I think just the wording of the song makes it more suitable for a girl than a boy, but in all honesty I HATE the song. I think it’s the beat that throws it off, lyrically it’s on point. Apollo I most def agree with that, his CD is good. I think I’m leaving was just a bad first single choice, but his CD out now is most def something that people are sleeping on right now. HELLO! hint to the Music people on think2wice.

    Jesse McCartney beats Leona Lewis because Leona’s version is a little messy to me, and the annoying drone in the background kinda gave it to Jesse McCartney.
