DEE you need to read more history..yes every race were enslaved but africans became slaves after the native americans could not handle the hard labor and they thought africans were the best people for slavery…..but i really like the song yes nas is trying to show that everyone can be a nigger(ignorant) sometimes and i love the song … this shit is the truth and im buying that album….fuuck MCcain racist ass

The hook is a throw back, listen to Eazy-E. Why is it too much? It’s not going to bring the wrong message unless they don’t listen to the song or aren’t knowledgable on the subject in the first place. The whole point is everybody race other than white is a nigga(in America at least) the KKK/AmeriKKKa ain’t for or about wealth and prosperity for all races except black. They don’t want wealth or prosperity for anybody except those white. Then you got where he say Eminem is a nigga, well that’s because he came from not having nothing(the man was poor and living in a trailer park) this goes all the way back with American history when they enslaved whites too(they enslaved poor Europeans/poor whites). The establishment of America was really to benefit the rich Europeans. The only reason why they began enslaving blacks was because the poor whites they brought from Europe were beginning to live past their contract time, and if they lived past that time they had to get all that was promised to them in the contract which was some land and some other stuff. So, with that he saying poor whites, they niggas too. Even the imagery of the boy acting a damn fool to the elder black is alluding to how Africans became enslaved in the first place, which was by other Africans and the Europeans took advantage of that. Africans from other tribes were captured and sold by the Africans that caught them, to the Europeans. I’m sorry this shit is long, but I had to explain. Knowledge is power, the ignorance and stupidity of the raps songs today are definitely reinforcing this–in a reverse psychological way.

That was long, but worth watching.
I’m definitly putting this on my iPod.
But I agree with DEE, a lot of unnecessary editing will be placed onto this video, and change it all up.

this song is hot…the hook tho is lil too much , its gonna bring the wrong message, but otherwise its a great song…sheds light on many things we should acknowledge

That was 10 times better than what I thought it was going to be. The first couple of minutes–which I know they will cut off and not show the dang TV, is words that need to be heard. That lynching at the end, I know they’ll blur out or edit out. Watch, every network is not and will not play this video unless it’s after dark. Then of course they’ll blame it on the FCC, but I say why not show what real and true, and something that is supposed to be looked at from an intellectual point of view. You play everybody else video with the T.N.A. not blurred out, and fa show they will blur out that gun(remember that Dre video–they don’t show the gun anymore). If they do play it, it will be edited like crazy and it will loose all the uniqueness and importance. If they do choose that route, if I was Nas I would have them remove it and not play it period, he can get more plays online anyways and it will still be as he intended it.
