The New Orleans Hornets win another game against the San Antonio Spurs (2-0). The final score by victory for the Hornets by 18 (102-84). Top performer of the night, Chris Paul scored a career-high 30 points and 12 assists, had a comment after the game:

“These are some of the best moments, I think, of my life that we’re experiencing right now,” Paul said. “We’re just riding a wave right now.”

The Detroit Pistons defeat Orlando Magic again going on the a two game winning streak as of now at least (2-0). The defeated Magic last night by 7 (93-100). The Pistons is declaring their spot fast in the playoffs. Chauncey Billups had a total of 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Billups talked about some of the difficulites of playing against these driven opponents:

“It’s tough to be on the other end of that play,” Billups said. “But I’ll take it.”

Tyshaun Prince had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jason Maxiell showed up as a top performer last night with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

And oddly enough, we never saw the final product of the aforementioned. Instead, last Thursday, her new video for L.I.F.E made its online debut. I suppose the label decided to switch things up a bit and hold off on releasing the T-Pain featured single, and release “L.I.F.E.” instead. Google recently launched a collection of new themes created by designers for iGoogle, Google’s personalized homepage, and within the 60+ artists they collaborated with, there are a few top fashion names in there.

The Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art held it’s annual gala last night to celebrate the opening of the new show “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” which runs from May 7 to September 1, 2008. Singers Janet Jackson, Beyonce and Mary J. Blige walked the red carpet alongside actresses like Thadie Newton and Paula Patton and all looked fabulous even though most of the dresses worn at the event last night were surprisingly low-key and safe considering the theme. Ciara has a new track that has leaked and supposedly is going to be the first single and on her new album, Fantasy Ride. The titled of the track is titled, “High Price” featuring Ludacris. When I hear this song, there’s is no “Ciara” vibe. This is not a track you would expect from Ciara but it has similar bass lines to one of her previous tracks, “Oh”, which is also featuring Ludacris.
