Here is the official video for Usher’s second single, “Moving Mountains“. The video literally starts off exactly where “Love in this Club” left off (minus Keri Hilson). I really liked the video, I think the video adds so much more emotion to the actual song. Here I Stand hits stores May 27th and don’t forget to check out Mikes Review of the album!

This weekend Joshua Packwood will officially be the first white valedictorian to graduate from the historically black, all male Morehouse College in the school’s 141-year history.

Joshua grew up in a poor area of Missouri, where he says he found himself gravitating to the black community at a young age.His mother’s second marriage to a black man ended in divorce which forced him to seek refuge with his best friend’s family – who were black and middle-class. It was the experience of living with his best friend’s family Joshua says, helped him see a “different side of black America.”

I just confirmed a short phoner with rapper The Game for this Friday, May 23rd 2008! If you would like to submit any questions, please do so by leaving a comment in this post before Friday. I can’t promise that I will be able to use all of them, but as usual, I will try my best to slide them in. And you already know that I only consider legitimate questions.

And for those that are wondering and have been hitting me up via e-mail, the Mario interview will be posted early next week!

Celtics Lead (1-0)

The Boston Celtics win another game against the Detroit Pistons after the progression from Game 7 with the Cavs. The Celtics won by 9 (88-79). The Pistons need to win away games if they want to progress in the series. Kevin Garnett had 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Paul Pierce scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Although resting is very vital in these series, Garnett says he ready to give it his all:

“Rest is not an option,” Garnett said. “So we don’t even think about that.”

♫ Usher’s Here I Stand

Usher has returned with his late studio album Here I Stand (Jive), which hits stores May 27th! Featured guests included on two of my favourite tracks What’s Your Name, with will.i.am, and Jay-Z on Best Thing. And of course you got Beyonce and Lil’ Wayne bringing the fire on Love In This Club Part II.

Here I Stand is a pretty solid follow-up to Confessions. I wouldn’t say that it is any better, per se, just moderate; but overall I really enjoyed HIS album.

I think that generally the whole feel of the album is about HIS wife, HIS son, HIS life, etc. And you know what I say? I say do you Usher! Although, I really loved Confessions Usher – thats was, however, the past – this Usher shows growth in every aspect possible. The album’s “story” is just so beautiful, you can’t even hate or anything, it’s trial and error – loved HIS album.
