Ne-Yo Go-Go (his stage name in the video) like many other stars, got his start by appearing on Showtime at the Apollo. Even though Ne-Yo’s group was basically booed throughout their entire performance, it was cool to see Ne-Yo doing something other than Micheal Jackson inspired dance moves. Former American Idol contestant Corey Clark (Snow) was also spotted.

Tokyo Diva, residing in NYC, is a young lady who is not only a talented artist and trendsetter, starting an underground movement called The Juice Krew (based in NY and outside areas), but she is also a MySpace Guru receiving more than 1,000 music plays a day on MySpace. Tokyo was also the first unsigned artist to perform on MTV’s TRL and she created the theme song Bad Girls for the hit TV show on Oxygen, Bad Girls Club. Thanks Christine for the info!!

Spurs Take Game 6

The San Antonio Spurs win Game 6 at home against the New Orleans Hornets. CP3 didn’t come through like I wish he did but he had a pretty good game overall. The Spurs did take the win by 11 (99-80). The series is still tied though (3-3). Tim Duncan scored 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Manu Ginobili scored 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Tony Parker had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Duncan stated how he felt about the stakes of these series played between the Hornets’:

“We know what we’re facing. We’re facing elimination,” Duncan said. “And we know we have to put a good game together there. … We’re going to take it in there and it’s do-or-die.”
