A brand new track has surfaced by Ashanti entitled Lose Your Love, the song appears to be a leftover track from the R&B singer’s forthcoming album, The Declaration, set to release this Summer off The Inc. I can see why it was scrapped. Lose Your Love, although exudes beautiful affection and passion in lyrics, sounds quite weak of a track for Ashanti; and to be honest I’ve heard better from her.

This year’s “Icon Issue” from The Fader Magazine pays homage to the late Aaliyah with remembrances and contributions from family, friends, and industry peers.

“It only took Aaliyah a few albums to make an indelible mark on the world of pop music, but today her influence can be felt across numerous genres,” said Chris Richards, Executive Editor of The FADER. “This issue not only tracks that influence, but also offers a more personal glimpse into the life of a true pop visionary.”

Issue 54 of The Fader will be available via iTunes in its entirety, with corresponding audio podcasts, and as a free download at thefader.com. Be on the look-out for it on news stands as well. Follow the break for quotes from inside of the issue.

I actually like this song and most of the songs that don’t make the album usually be some of the best tracks. The titled of the track is “Last 2 Know”. Click the following link to listen. Tell us what you think of the song and leave a comment.

I know this is late notice, but Think2wice will be interviewing Mario this Monday – May 12th! So if you have any questions for the former Dancing With the Stars contestant, please be sure to leave them here and I will try my best to slide them in the interview. As usual, only legitimate questions will be considered, and like other interviews, something may come up and the interview might get rescheduled, so nothing’s promised.

Here is a brand new leaked track from Nelly’s forthcoming album, Brass Knuckles (Derrty/Universal), which will be in stores this Summer. The song, Stepped On My Js, features Ciara as well as Jermaine Dupri who produced on the track; it also features a sample from J-Kwon’s (remember him?) Tispy. The song is alrite, I mean it wouldn’t particularly be single material, though.
