[Video] Foxy Brown Released from Rikers

When Foxy Brown was released from prison in Rikers Island earlier today (Apr. 18th), some tears were shed and some words were shared. The rapper was met outside of the prison by members of the press and some of her family, including her mother, whom she thanked repeatedly in the video above sent over by Danica from SOHH.

Homegirl might be boo-hooing and thanking God now, but I’m still not convinced that she’s learned her lesson. She’ll be back…

    MAN she did 8 months, rappers be killing me with this B.S. Like doing a lil time is supposed to give her street cred. She is famous for NOTHING! Foxy ain’t had a hit since the 90’s, she better take that whackness on some where. She tried to get back on and get some air time a few years ago with that “I lost my hearing story,” she won’t get me with that stupid ish. Then on top of that she still couldn’t get herself back up. She ain’t even a hott rapper anyways, she’s best known for 16 bars on a song that wasn’t even hers. These idoits on the street yelling like she’s accomplished something, talking bout “they can’t hold you..”. Man… what is Black America coming to, really?
