Media Take Out, the increasingly popular gossip site notorious for posting rumors and falsely fabricated stories had people talking about Jermaine Dupri going blind after undergoing laser eye surgery. Of course the rapper/producer responded via his Youtube channel stating that he “ain’t blind, you stupid mother fuckers!” I knew this rumor was bogus to begin with. As I stated before, I had the procedure done myself, and I don’t do anything that drastic without conducting the proper research. Out of the millions of surgeries that have been performed over the past 10 years (the first surgery was done in 1998), there have been ZERO cases of recipients of the treatment going blind. Don’t believe me? Make friends with Google. The information’s out there…

R&B group Dru Hill was in the middle of announcing their comeback on Baltimore’s 92Q Jams radio station when group member Woody made his own announcement. Needless to say, Sisqo, the lead singer of the group, didn’t take too kindly of him making such an announcement without discussing it with the group beforehand. Completely understandable. But the little tantrum Sisqo threw was pretty funny, not to mention that whack-ass fight between the remaining guys. What a lasting impression to make on your hometown fans! But, was it all staged? From one standpoint it looks fake, but from the other, it looks real. Maybe Sisqo’s that good of an actor, and if that’s the case, he doesn’t need to be singing in a group. Peep the video for yourselves above!
Here’s the official video for the Jermaine Dupri/Ne-Yo produced track, Rock With U, lifted off of Janet Jackson’s brand new album, Discipline. The video premiered last night on BET’s Access Granted. Congratulations to Janet for snagging the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 on her first week of release!

Gnarls Barkley returns with their sophomore album The Odd Couple (Atlantic), make sure you all pick up your copy April 8th, 2008! I’ve been turned onto Gnarls Barkley’s randomness (good random, though) when I first heard their single ‘Crazy’. Now, I’m extremely random, so soon I knew Gnarls Barkley would ultimately become one of my favourite bands ever. I still bump St. Elsewhere from time to time even now, just like I’ll be with this album soon :)
[ THANKS JONNY ALI'S BLOG ! ]
My current favourite tunes from this album, so far, are ‘Would-Be Killer’, ‘Open Book’, ‘Whatever’, ‘Blind Mary’, ‘Neighbors’ and ‘A Little Better’. If you liked St. Elsewhere you’ll love this album, it’s a little more darker, though; lots of soul and a little bit of funk. I love it long time! You can’t go wrong with GB.

USHER’S NEW SINGLE NUMBER 1 ON iTUNES!!

Yeah … I think somebody owes somebody an a-polo-gy! With that being said congratulations Usher, tehe!

(CNN) — Democrats faced the prospect of at least six more weeks of tough campaigning after Hillary Clinton’s Tuesday night wins in Tuesday’s primaries in Ohio and Texas as she escaped a knockout blow by Barack Obama. Both Democratic contenders are eyeing Pennsylvania — the last heavyweight state on the primary calendar — as the next major battleground. The state votes April 22, after Democratic caucuses in Wyoming on Saturday and a Mississippi primary March 11.
“Ohio has written a new chapter in the history of this campaign, and we’re just getting started,” Clinton told supporters in her victory speech in Ohio. “More and more people have joined this campaign, and millions of Americans haven’t spoken yet. In states like Pennsylvania and so many others, people are watching this historic campaign, and they want their turn to help make history.”
After winning the biggest prizes in the February 5 Super Tuesday contests, the New York senator and former first lady dropped 11 straight primaries and caucuses to Obama and watched her leads in Ohio and Texas dwindle to single digits in published polls. Obama supporters began calling for her to quit the race in order to head off a more divisive endgame, and even her husband — former President Bill Clinton — told supporters she would be unable to win the nomination without victories in those states. But Clinton hit back with a television ad aimed at raising concerns about Obama’s experience, an ad juxtaposing a sleeping child with a late-night emergency call to the White House.
Her campaign also jumped into the controversy over an Obama adviser’s meeting with Canadian officials to discuss trade policy as the Illinois senator was calling for changes in the North American Free Trade Agreement, accusing him of telling voters one thing and the largest U.S. trade partner another. The attacks appeared to hit their mark: About one in three voters in the Texas and Ohio primaries made up their minds in the last week, and those who did broke heavily for Clinton. CONTINUE READING

This particular issue hits stands March 12th!
Above you can see a Target commercial (which is being aired on TV now) featuring some amazing tap dancing skills from two talented brothers, Sean and John. Sean and John are identical twin tap dancers. At age 6 they started training with tap master tapper Alfred Desio at The Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles and have been tap dancing together professionally since age 8. The energy and originality they bring to their performance is unbelievable! They have a unique combination of the traditional style of the past and hip-hop style of today.
They have been featured on several television shows/commercials including NBC’s American Dream, The People’s Choice Awards performing with Tony Danza, The Tonight Show, The Apollo, The Roseanne Show, 30 Seconds to Fame, The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards 04 performing with Nelly and Christina Aguilera, America’s Got Talent (semi-finalists), TV Azteca’s “Quien Tiene Estrella” (finalists), Target/Converse Campaign, Dance Fever, and they have worked with Prince, Usher, Stevie Wonder and many more.
They’ve also toured nationally with Mary Wilson of The Supremes, an off Broadway Musical “Sophicated Ladies” honoring Duke Ellington, a 3 month show at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. They were a part of Prince’s “Musicology” music video, choreographed Usher’s tap dance for the “Movie Rocks Awards,” and did a tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra. Sean and John’s most honored and memorable performances were on stage along side legendary tap dancers The Nichloas Brothers and Gregory Hines. Sean & John have performed throughout California, doing several charity events for schools, churches, and communities.
