… He even gives MediaTakeOver a quick shout-out! “I’mma just put it on YouTube right now … I don’t really do this … but it’s funny to me!” The young R&Ber says in a jokingly, yet serious manner, “the media always builds you up to get you down [and] I just want to tell all my fans out there that we don’t carry, or conduct, ourselves like that”. Honestly, the best advice I can come up with for Chris, or any celebrity, is to just ignore the rumors. Becos the more you entertain them, and feed into them, you begin to justify them. That’s a no-brainier.

And to the people unaware, MediaTakeOver is obviously a site you shouldn’t be taking seriously. I mean, if that is where you go for reliability and justification, I don’t know what to tell you …

We kinda stole this from Vibe Magazine. You know, where they do the questions. However, there are two differences - we ask an additional question, and the questions they ask, and the ones we ask are completely different! Oh yeah … we spell it like “qwestchuns” lol!

#1: Why did it take to long for Beyonce to get a non-singing role in a movie?

#2: Why does Weezy’s ad for condoms look suspect?

#3: Why are Reggie and Kim playing us with this fake ass relationship?

#4: Speaking of “fake ass relationships,” Chris Brown and Rihanna! Whaddup?

#5: Why didn’t Woody tell Sisqo about his call from the Lord before hitting the radio airwaves? Couldn’t he have at least put him on threeway? CONTINUE READING

Here is what’s said to be Ashlee Simpson’s Bittersweet World (Geffen) album cover, accordingly to a resourceful Ashlee Simpson fan-site. The album cover can also be seen placed upon Simpson’s label site. At first, I thought it was fan-made, but I sort of get the concept of the album artwork coinciding with the album’s title. I was just expecting something a little more darker, or raunchy … ?

This week on America’s Best Dance Crew contestants had to imitate, as well as implement their own, dance moves from Michael Jackson’s Thriller album in honor of the Thriller 25th anniversary edition that is in stores now. Status Quo had ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, JabbaWockeeZ had ‘P.Y.T.’, Kaba Modern had ‘Thriller’, Fysh n Chicks had ‘Billie Jean’ and BreakSk8 had ‘Beat It’. Everyone danced well and executed this challenge phenomenally. My personal favs were Fysh n Chicks for their well choreographed dance sequence and creativeness and BreakSk8 for their coordination and perseverance. But let’s keep it real now, NO BODY can be like Mike, I often cringed at the judges for making such blaspheme comments such as ‘you gotta do it better than Mike!’

I digress, I guess. But if anything I thought BreakSk8 represented Mike the most, being from Indiana themselves, not to mention they danced on skates! God bless ‘em … It was sad to see Fysh n Chicks go, but I suppose it was their time, I hate to admit it, but I strongly agreed with Little Mother here: about how the ‘Love interest’, or lead girl in the pink, was portrayed too masculine for such a feminine role. Over all this week’s episode was exemplary, MJ would be ever so proud, ever so. I’m quite curious how contestants will do on next week’s show, though. Since they’ll be “out of their comfort zone” portraying Broadway, and all. Sounds stellar.

‘I Luv Your Girl’ will be The-Dream’s third single from his debut album Love/Hate (Def Jam) in stores now, it was produced by Tricky Stewart. An official remix featuring Young Jeezy made it’s go abouts around the Internet recently and to my in box! Woohoo! Although this was not one of my favourite songs from The-Dream’s album Young Jeezy makes up for that.

American Idol star Blake Lewis has confirmed that ‘How Many Words’ would be the next single from A.D.D. (in stores now!) and performed it live on AI recently. I’m really happy over the single choice, although there were so many other good songs from that album, I find ‘How Many Words’ to be very ‘radio-friendly’.

Here is the Think2wice video premiere of ‘I’m Leavin’ from Jesse McCartney’s new album Departure (Hollywood) in stores May 20th. I’m sure you all remember me posting the downloadable version not too long ago, last month. I love the song, I don’t know about the video; I expected the it to be more of a club scene. Is that too logical?

Brooklyn Rapper Jamal Woolard aka “Gravy” to play Notorious B.I.G. in New Biopic

Brooklyn-based rapper Jamal Woolard, better known as “Gravy,” has been tapped to play rap icon Biggie Smalls, in the upcoming biopic Notorious, which is set for a January 2009 release, reports All Hip Hop.

According to Variety, Notorious will also star Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean “Diddy” Combs and Anthony Mackie, who will play Tupac Shakur. Notorious, which is being executive produced by Combs, will chronicle B.I.G’s career, his rise to the top of the charts and ultimately his death. The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was shot to death on March 9, 1997, after he, Sean “Diddy “ Combs and an entourage attended a party at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The murders of B.I.G. or his “rival” Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down six months earlier in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, have never been solved.

Some believe that the rappers were shot as part of a feud between East and West Coast rappers, while others, including B.I.G.’s mother, claim B.I.G. was gunned down with the help of off-duty police officers, on the orders of Death Row Records’ CEO, Marion “Suge” Knight. Notorious is based on a screenplay by Hip-Hop scribes Cheo Hodari Coker and Reggie Rock Bythewood. In April of 2006, Gravy caused a minor controversy when he was shot outside of New York’s Hot 97, just moments before conducting a radio interview. Hot 97 responded by banning the rapper’s records from being played the following month, due to several other unrelated violent alteractions between rappers at the station. Notorious is being directed by George Tillman Jr and is due in theaters on January 16.

The movie is set to start filming on March 24 in New York, just two weeks after the anniversary of B.I.G., who was gunned down on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles. Click Here to see casting predictions from So Furious!

Kelly Rowland Admits to Having Breast Implants

Kelly Rowland put those rumors of her having breast implants to rest by confirming their validity in an upcoming issue of People Magazine.

Rowland, who sang “Bootylicious” with Beyonce in the group Destiny’s Child, tells People magazine in its March 17 issue that she had plastic surgery last October to bring her “from an A-cup to a B-cup.” As for the one-cup upgrade, Rowland says: “I didn’t want to have double Ds and be a little bitty size 2 — that would look nuts!” The 27-year-old singer went under the knife after a long decision-making process.

“I was sick of not fitting into my tops,” she says. “There was this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out!” Rowland says that top — designed by Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles — complements her new curves: “I put it on and I looked so good! I’m so happy. I feel complete.” Rowland, who has released two solo albums, says she hesitated to discuss the surgery.

“It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that’s all that counts. For young people: Think about it before you just jump off and do something (you may regret later),” she says.

Can she get through one interview without making references to Beyonce? Anyhow, I’m loving the new chest though, Kelly. You didn’t go too outrageous. They look “natural.”
