Leavin’ will be the first single from Jesse McCartney’s forthcoming album Departure (Hollywood) in stores May 20th. The song was written by The-Dream and produced by Tricky Stewart. McCartney on Leavin’: “I’ve learned a lot since doing my first couple of records. I think I’ve landed in the most comfortable place I’ve ever been musically as the style of music, my vocals and the lyrical content of the songs on this album.”

Jermaine Dupri recently posted a video to his Youtube channel of him undergoing laser eye surgery. Homeboy forgot his wallet and Janet had to leave rehearsals early so that she could put it on her credit card. He wouldn’t have been able to get the procedure done without paying first. Those people DO NOT play when it comes to getting their money lol.

I had the procedure done a few weeks ago, and if you’ve ever thought about getting it done … do it! Trust me, it’s not as painful as it looks. Your eyes are numb the entire time, so you don’t feel a thing. The worst part about the whole thing were those white eye drops you have to put in 4 times a day that leave a weird after-taste for about 5 minutes in the back of your throat lol. But seriously, it’s definitely worth every penny being able to see walk out of the house without putting in contacts!

It has been confirmed by local news channel WMDT 47 in Salisbury, Maryland, R&B singer J.Holiday was arrested Thursday night after being pulled over on Route 50 for racing with another vehicle … and having some weed in the “back of his lac!” Sgt. Frank Russo said when the officers pulled J.Holiday (real name: Nahum Grymes) over, they picked up a strong odor resembling that of marijuana coming from the singer’s car, which led to a search of his vehicle. According to WMDT, a small amount of marijuana was found in the center console of the vehicle. Holiday and his passenger, George Jackson, both face charges of drug possession, while the driver of the other car, Rolland Wesley, faces traffic-related charges.

Here are the two versions of Janet Jackson’s new singles, ‘Luv’; produced by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins and ‘Rock With U’; produced by Jermaine Dupri and Ne-Yo. Now, to my knowledge, ‘Luv’ was suppose to be next single for the US and ‘Rock With U’ was suppose to be the next single for the UK. But ‘Rock With U’ is getting some spins on the radio, too. Plus Jackson is said to be shooting a video for ‘Rock With U’ soon … no word on ‘Luv’. I don’t know what her people are doing to tell you the truth. I really like ‘Luv’ but if it were up to me I’d just make ‘2nite’ a single. That is like my workout song!
