Mariah Carey’s single recently premiered today via all radio stations and media outlets. The name of the song is ‘Touch My Body’ and it was written by Mariah, herself, and The-Dream and produced by Tricky Stewart. This song will be the first single lifted from Mariah’s follow-up to 2005’s Emancipation Of Mimi, appropriately titled E=MC2 (Island). Unfortunately I can not post the ‘downloadable’ version per request of a third party but I can link you to the streaming version via z100 New YorK, which you can checkout below..

What I think of the song? I mean, it’s that typical sound Mimi is known for, I see her people wanted to further spawn the ‘We Belong Together’ sound, sort of whimsical and melodic, making it a successor of the forthcoming album - which is smart I guess - maybe this song will grow on me once I see the video it portrays. Oh and I see they changed the album title - much better, see! Now … about that album cover? Lol.

Thriller 25 in stores now, bitch!

As you should know, Michael Jackson is the juggernaut of Pop (music, culture, fashion). His album Thriller 25 is in stores now, I ask all of the true MJ fans and non-believers to participate in making this album, not equating with the original, the best-selling album to date. Here are the facts (keep in mind - this is all quoted in Guiness Book Or World Records):

1. Biggest Selling Album Of All Time - Guiness Book Of World Records: Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” Album is the biggest selling album of all time, with over 50 million copies sold worldwide. Thriller is also the biggest selling U.S album with sales of 25 million copies.

2. Most No1 Hits in 1980’s: By The End of the 1980’s MIchael Jackson had more #1 hits than any other artist for the decade.

3. Biggest Selling Video: Michael Jackson’s “The Making Of Thriller” is the biggest selling video to be released by an artist.

4. Entertainer Of The Decade: With the #1 (Thriller)and #2 (Bad) ranked albums in the world Michael was the 1980’s Entertainer Of The Decade.

5. First Video: Michael Jackson was the first black artist to have a video aired on MTV.

6. #1 On Charts: In 1983 Michael became the first artist to simultaneously hold the number one spots on Billboard’s rock albums and rock singles charts, as well as the R&B albums and singles charts.

There you have it, that’s not even the half of it, so what more could you ask for? If you stroll the Earth, you will find three famous nouns: God, Coca-Cola, and Michael Jackson. Now come MJ fans! Let’s make Thriller number one on the charts once more- and I DARE a mf to spew their negroid hatred and speak blasphemy towards this wonderful man … I wish a mf WOOD.

Well damn! Excuuuuse me y’all, straight from the source, it actually turns out ‘Picture Perfect’ featuring Will.i.am will NOT be the next single, evidently ‘Down’ featuring Kanye West will be! Smart move, indeed. ‘Down’ was the song I imegiately, IMEGIATELY clicked to, so I feel a hit coming on …

‘Come To Me (Peace)’ produced by Tricky Stewart will be R&B singer Mary J. Blige’s 3rd single from her latest album Growing Pains (Geffen) in stores now! If you look on Yahoo! Music’s premiere line-up ‘Come To Me’ is set to premiere February 18th so expect that to be posted on the site soon via our lovely Videographer Yardie, Lol!

Gap Band’s own lead vocalist Charlie Wilson returns with ‘Rappa Ternt Sanga’ T-Pain! Charlie Wilson is the one who had that ‘Charlie, Last Name Wilson’ LP and single, I know y’all remember that cut, you ain’t gotsta lie! Lol. Anyway his new song is titled ‘Supa Sexxy,’ which can be heard below, it features and was produced by T-Pain so expect him to get trigger happy with the auto tune (you know how he do)! I love the song though and I have to admit to T-Pain being my guilty pleasure, so adding him to this was a great touch, he even has that ‘Greatness plus greatness equals great-greatness!’ trademark, Lol!

‘How We Do It In The A’ featuring Ludacris is said to R&Ber Lloyd’s first single from his forthcoming album due out later this year. The song has a nice synth sound and “knock” to it (Ludacris), I really like it! I get this whole Michael Jackson-vibe with Lloyd, not that it’s a bad thing, but I can totally picture this record being for him. Maybe that’s why I like it so much? If Lloyd and Luda can put together a stellar dance video with this - like a little tribute thing to MJ - I’m sold I tell you! Do you think this song has enough potential to put ATL back on the map once again? Let me know, y’all! Oh and someone asked the question, “how could I preview the song before I download it?” When you go to the page link click on ‘zSHARE’ as one of the dl links and you can hear a stream of the song before you dl it, bb!

Kanye West (photographed above) performs “Stronger” at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center last night in LA. Towards the end of the performance, recording artists Daft Punk made a special cameo appearance. The show featured a lot of performances, and even though we posted the majority of them throughout the night as they came in, a few slipped through the cracks. Here are the remainder of the photos that we didn’t get to post last night. More can be found after the cut.

P!nk - IP!NK // I’M NOT DEAD PLATINUM EDITION

Awhoo! Go P!nk! So far the pop-singer’s 2006 album I’m Not Dead (LaFace), a follow-up to 2003’s Try This (Laface), has been certified platinum in the U.S. and has done extremely well Australia, becoming the best-selling album of all time, certified 8x’s platinum, thus leading to the the most successful tour in the nation! Wow, you rock, Pink!

You guys can get your copy of I’m Not Dead Platinum Edition in stores now, the album will include all new bonus material, including four stellar new tracks and a DVD set of all videos from the album. If your wondering, all of this was released around December of last year. So yeah, I’m like a year late, but technically not — two months late! Hey, I loved this album ok! I think out of Ashlee, Lindsay, and P!nk’s latest albums I’d have to say P!nk rules out of the three. I went through all sorts of emotions with I’m Not Dead, I think that was the album that really related to me more so than the others.

Anyway my new favourites from this album has to be “I Have Seen The Rain” and “Fingers,” becos it reminds me of Britney Spears’ “Touch of My Hand”. But really, I love all of the new songs, matter of fact, the whole album! “Runaway,” “Cuz I Can,” “Who Knew,” “I Got Money Now,” all of them … “Runaway” probably the most. Any type of rebellion: I’m for. Even with N*E*R*D’s Fly or Die (Virgin) album — I was so ready to run away — I must have ran away 500 times in my mind already.
