Episode 11 of Season 2 of The Boondocks. Its really primarily focused on “the N word”.

“Granddad and the good Rev. Rollo Goodlove try to cash in big after a teacher calls Riley the ‘N-word’ in school.”

Cee-Lo Green (Rollo Goodlove) and Fred Williard (Mr. Petto) guest star.

“The Hunger Strike” episode is scheduled to air next week Monday on the 28th.

Mr. Petto is originally a minor character from the strips and makes his first appearance in the tv show in this episode, similar to Cindy in “Ballin”.

The episode parodies the real-life story of Paul Dawson; a teacher who called a black student a Nigger (or Nigga?) lol.

Shocking! A young woman from Queens, Stacy Gayle, goes into a seizure after listening to Reggae-star Sean Paul’s “Temperature”. Doctors learned this after several unsuccessful brain scans. That is when Gayle received a special PET scan and was diagnosed with a type of epilepsy.

It’s a very rare disorder, maybe five or six cases in the country: Epileptic seizures triggered by music. It’s called musicogenic epilepsy. In this fascinating case today, a young woman in Queens suddenly began having epileptic seizures. The stimulus? a rap song.

What the Sean Paul song turned on in Stacey Gayle’s brain is a rare- occurring mystery: Epileptic seizures triggered by music.

Stacey Gayle, Epilepsy Patient: “They started out slow and then four times a week maybe more. We didn’t know at first what was triggering the seizures until we found out that it was Sean Paul.”

Gayle is fine and “seizure free”. She just seemed disappointed saying, “I think his music is awesome, actually.” Reports are saying that Gayle’s seizures were eventually brought on upon other types of Reggae music.

According to SOHH’s Pulse Report for today, Blender magazine is predicting that Lil’ Wayne will die in 2026 at the age of 44. The popular hip-hop site says that Blender has something called a “Death Calculator” and randomly drops celebrity’s names into it, and this around, Weezy was mentioned. Here’s what the gerontologist Dr. David J. Demko said:

“Guns, drugs and a hot temper don’t mix. In order for Lil’ Wayne to increase his longevity he needs to seriously concentrate on staying out of jail.”

Okay, so according to SOHH, Blender’s saying Weezy will die in about 18 years, and according to US Magazine, The Associated Press has Britney’s obituary written and ready to go “just in case.” Interesting…

American Gangster Hit With $55 Million Lawsuit!

The makers behind American Gangster, the hit movie starring Denzel Washington, have been slapped with a $55 million libel suit levied by three former Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents who say the film inaccurately portrayed them as criminals and diminished their role in taking down Harlem heroin dealer Frank Lucas. Former DEA agents Louis Diaz, Gregory Korniloff and Jack Toal took legal action Wednesday against NBC Universal, saying it falsely claims that the cinematic account of real life Harlem drug kingpin Frank Lucas was based on a true story, reports the Associated Press.

“American Gangster” chronicles the rise and fall of Lucas, played by Denzel Washington, and how his empire undercut the price and quality of heroin sold by the Mafia. Once he was taken down in an effort led by New Jersey Detective Richard Roberts, depicted in the film by Russell Crowe, Lucas turned informant. According to the suit filed Wednesday, the movie hurt the agents’ reputations by falsely claiming in text at the end that a collaboration between Lucas and Roberts “led to the convictions of three-quarters of New York City’s Drug Enforcement Agency agents between 1973 and 1985.”

“With this utterly false and defamatory statement, the defendant has ruined and impugned the reputations of these honest and courageous public servants in the eyes of millions of people,” said the suit, which seeks class action status.

——————–

NBC Universal, owned by General Electric, denied the allegations, saying: “American Gangster does not defame these, or any, federal agents. The end legend specifically refers to members of ‘New York City’s Drug Enforcement Agency’ — not the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, where the plaintiffs formerly worked. We believe the lawsuit is entirely without merit.” [ SOURCE ]

Now, everyone do me a favor and raise your hand if you paid attention to that at the end of the movie. Yeah, I’m sure you read it … but did you really care? My point exactly. People sue for pretty much anything these days. More power to them tough, I’m sure they have some bills that need to be paid.
