Does Aunt Viv Have a Sex Tape?
PHOTO: WIRE IMAGE

Just so you know, in my opinion, you’re not a real celebrity until a blurry video of you doing the nasty with your significant other (or just a random jump-off … whatever makes your boat float) “leaks” to the internet. Word on the sidewalk is that a certain Atlanta radio personality who goes by Porsche Foxx lucked up on a sex tape (recorded via cell phone, mind you) featuring Vivica Fox and an unknown male companion. Apparently Aunt Viv was blowing dude’s whistle, if you know what I mean. And Sandra Rose basically confirmed it, but of course Porsche’s denying that she said it was really Viv!

Sex tapes aren’t really all that bad. Look what they did for the careers of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian!! Besides, it’s the year 2008 … you should know by now that anything “recorded” and not immediately deleted/destroyed is liable to get out SOONER OR LATER. When are people gonna learn?!

R Kelly Sued by Ne-Yo!

As if a pending court case for several counts of child pornography, R Kelly has been hit with yet another lawsuit … this time around by ex-tourmate Ne-Yo!

Ne-Yo and Compound Touring Inc. filed a suit Monday (Dec. 31) against Rowe Entertainment Inc., the promoter of R. Kelly’s “Double-Up” Tour, for firing the singer after two shows as the opening act for Kelly. The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges breach of contract and violation of the right of publicity. The suit maintains Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Smith, was to be paid $785,000 for opening the 25-stop tour alongside singers Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday. The outing began Nov. 14, and Ne-Yo was fired prior to the third show on Nov. 19 and is still owed $735,000. Compound Touring and Smith are seeking unspecified damages.

“Plaintiffs allege that an unknown representative of R. Kelly urged Rowe to terminate Smith from the tour given the audience’s and critics’ more favorable reaction to Smith than the reaction to R. Kelly,” the suit states. Compound Touring spent “substantial monies in preparation for the tour and turned down other touring and performance opportunities for Smith in reliance on Rowe’s agreement that Smith would perform on the tour,” according to the suit. They say the best way to hurt a man is through his pockets. I’m behind you on this one Ne-Yo!

Diddy to get a Star on the Walk of Fame » Twins featured in US Magazine

Rapper, producer, hip-hop mogul, and the father of dozens of kids in Hollywood, Sean “Diddy” Combs will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in this month. Diddy broke the news recently while calling in to “The Foxxhole,” Jamie Foxx’s show on Sirius radio.

“I’m from Harlem, New York, so to get a star in Hollywood is just mind-blowing,” Diddy said. “You can get a lot of things, but when you see those stars on the ground … that’s something I can’t even say I dreamed of and to be getting recognized for it is definitely something I’m gonna have my whole family out there for.”

Beyonce and Kanye West playing Connect 4
KANYE CELEBRATING HIS WIN OVER BEYONCE IN CONNECT 4

Beyonce’s apparently a legend when it comes to Connect 4, haha. According to Kanye West’s latest blog post, playing Connect 4 while on tour in Europe helped him to zone out a bit. And last night at Jay-Z’s new 40/40 club in Las Vegas, he got a chance to play the legendary Beyonce, who beat homeboy 9 times in a row! But he was able to get a win though, and of course he had to document the once-in-a-lifetime occasion with a photo! [peep the picture above] She probably let him win though cause you know, Beyonce’s nice like that. Just kidding, Lol! Peep 2 more photos he posted after the cut. It’s good to see Kanye updating his blog again. CONTINUE READING

I was reading my new favorite site today and came across this “not so blind item.” I knew who it was after the first sentence. Too easy!

In a recent Los Angeles studio session, what former black boyband member, mainly famous in his adult career for taking it all off, was quietly pulled into a back room by his manager/alleged male lover, then beaten “like a hoe” for not singing up to standard?

Trusted WhistleBlower: “You could hear [ANGRY MANAGER] beating the shit out of him, like the way you’d beat a child. When they came out [NAKED BOYBANDER] had tears in his eyes and was like visibly upset. Everyone just tried to act like they didn’t notice. It was so bizarre.”

Bizarre is the operative word, kids. And TNU’s sources would “Never Lie.”

Blow the whistle, y’all!

“Naked Boybander” = Marques Houston
“Angry Manager” = Chris Stokes

Is it really that obvious?? Guess so…

“Dereon Freakums” ftw! Y’all better stop before y’all give Momma Tina and ‘em some ideas!

“Sleepwalkin’” is an extra bonus track that can be found on the Japanese (y’all get everything!) version of Mary J. Blige’s new album Growing Pains (Geffen) in stores now! Wow, Mary J never ceases to amaze me, really! I find this song single material, it’s really relative and rockable to me, I love it! Cheers MJB but if you don’t release this I’mma scream and it’s produced by Tricky! LOL. Shouts out to Chris for the new music <33.

First and foremost I want to say happy 2k8 and that I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and whatnot. Sorry for the lateness in posts and music, I’ve been so busy with exams and finals, coming into adult life aka “the real world” and stress, you know, the usual.

The Summer of 2007 was definitely a time for Rihanna to shine, with the smash hit of “Umbrella” featuring executive producer/mentor Jay-Z, already having released two previous albums, both 2005’s Music of the Sun and 2006’s A Girl Like Me, one would question if Rihanna is moving too quickly in her natural prime. Although I do admit to actually purchasing and owning two of Rihanna’s album releases, I felt she was rushed into finding a specific identity to stick with, not just for her, but also her label. Needless to say, numbers don’t lie, “Umbrella” was indeed a hit and possibly one of my favourite records from her.

Chuck D Might be Taking Jay-Z’s Place as President of Def jam

Just a week after Jay-Z’s resignation as president of Def Jam, it’s been reported that Chuck D of Public Enemy just might be taking his place. Chuck D said the following to All Hip Hop:

After 10 years looking on the collapsing of the record industry, and upon hearing the news of Jay-Z stepping down from Def Jam, I would throw my name into the hat of somebody who understands how the hell Universal should establish the name-brands they acquire with stockholders money. So instead of me running for politics, this is an easier run into the world of influential culture.

I’m in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York on the regular as well as I [thoroughly understand] the international picture. There would be some seismic changes, and I would be a little Huey Long-ish at it. If folks are clueless about this parallel that’s precisely the problem.

If you’re interested in Chuck D’s plan of attack if appointed president, follow the break! CONTINUE READING
