Media Take Out ((insert eye-roll here)) is reporting that the Queen recently popped the question to her girlfriend of 4 years. A formal public announcement is supposed to follow very soon, which means that home girl will finally be coming out of the closet. Good for her! If it’s true, of course lol…

Well folks, it appears as though the whole Michael Vick saga is finally over! The (currently) ex-quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons went before a judge this morning, and was sentenced to 23 months in prison. His original sentence would have been 24 months (2 years) but Vick went in early a month ago, so he’s already served a month. I know he’s pretty damn happy, though! They were originally talking about giving dude 4 – 5 years! I hope he’s learned his lesson from all of this though. I hate to see people get caught back up into the same shit once they’re back on the streets…
In other Michael Vick news, it’s been reported that the place where he has all of these dog fights has recently become a tourist attraction … no lie! The house, which was purchased for $750,000 by investor Ray Todd is for sell. He hopes to sell the property for about $1 million, and is hosting an “open house” for potential buyers. Some are seriously looking into purchasing the home, while others are just poking around being NOSY! Lol, y’all know how folks are!
“Well, we can’t change history,” says Todd. “History happens somewhere at somebody’s house. Hopefully it’ll spark some interest. A lot of people have questions about what went happened … Hopefully this answers some of those questions.”

Hip-hop would not be hip-hop without some Grade A “Beef!” Remy Ma recently responded (via the radio) to a few comments Lil Kim made about her.
“That little boy better live me alone, Remy said referring to Lil Kim. “She was saying I’m going at [Remy] hard, she go hard to me so I go hard back. I feel like if that’s going at me hard, like seriously, I’m just gonna chill out. That’s crazy to me.”

So the 2007 Movies Rock! show went down last night (December 7th): a night of movies, fashion and music! Performances include Chris Brown, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Will.I.Am, Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J and Eve! It looked fun, I’d say my favorite performance would have to be Fergie Ferg with “Live and Let Die” (Guns N’ Roses), she did an amazing job and did that song much justice. Ooh, I also love Usher’s performance of Gene Kelly’s “Singing in the Rain” – great show! Really they ALL did a fantastic job, I’m so proud of everyone! I’m mad I missed it y’all! It’s that time of year when the nominees for the upcoming Grammy awards are announced, and I hate to be critical, but really … can someone please enlighten me on the CURRENT qualifications for getting nominated?! Having a “hit” or two on the radio? I mean really, T-Pain? Soulja Boy? Akon? I guess when you’re given lemons, you make lemonade. The state of music is really in a pitfall if the people I mentioned above qualify for a Grammy. To me, it just makes being nominated not feel so “special” anymore. Usher’s mother, Jonnetta Patton, tells PEOPLE that her new grandson is God’s gift to her son and his wife, just in time for the holidays.
“I’m extremely excited and filled with joy about the birth of my grandson, Usher Raymond V,” Patton says. “He is beautiful, precious, healthy and such a blessing. I’m very happy for my son and his wife [1]. God has truly blessed them with a special gift. This will be an amazing holiday season for all of us.”
Usher’s wife, Tameka, gave birth to Usher Raymond V on Monday night. “We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son,” the couple said in a statement.
