But then I actually LISTENED to the album and soon came to appreciate it for what it really is... As I Am is like a breath of fresh air at a time when complete praise for albums is rare. I think this album flows better than her previous effort (which was very good too) and every aspect of the music (vocals, lyrics, production, etc) screams PURE TALENT... Seriously, it's art. I'm sure she'll win some Grammys for this, I hope so anyway...
