Update on T.I. Situation: His Hearing is Friday » Tiny, Dro & Mac Boney are Out of Jail » Download the (Leaked) Complaint Affidavit!

First up, I just caught wind on some more information regarding T.I. Although he was denied bail in today’s hearing, U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman scheduled a hearing for this Friday. At that time, he will decide whether there was probable cause to arrest the rapper and if T.I. will qualify for bond before a trial.

T.I.’s longtime girlfriend, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, was charged with drug possession and was released. She apparently had some marijuana and ecstasy on her. Neither Young Dro nor Mac Boney were charged with any crimes, and they both were released.

And last but not least, the full 9-page long affidavit running down Saturday’s events has leaked to the public (no surprise there) and you can download that mofo HERE. I just skimmed through some of the pages in Adobe Reader, but from read I read … SMH. I hate to say it, but T.I.P. might have gotten the best of T.I. Looks like they’re BOTH goin down…

Nas Names New Album “Nigga!”He did it last year with “Hip Hop Is Head,” and now Nas is attempting to spark some discussion and controversy with the title of his new album, “Nigga.” I’m sure homeboy has a damn good reason for naming his album this, but damn! Peep the story straight from BILLBOARD below:

During an Oct. 12 concert at New York’s Roseland Ballroom, the rapper told the crowd the album would be called “Nigga.” Def Jam had no comment on the title at deadline. The set will be the follow-up to last year’s “Hip-Hop Is Dead,” Nas’ Def Jam debut. The set has sold 743,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. As previously reported, Nas will also be the subject of a “Greatest Hits” album, which arrives November 6 via his former label home, Columbia.

I wonder how long it’s going to take for Al Sharpton & Rev. Jesse Jackson to respond to this…

Jay-Z & His Lips Cover XXL Magazine

This is (of course) a preview of what’s to come for the next issue of XXL Magazine. But I just can’t get over the fact that Jay-Z’s soup coolers take over 75% of the page. And no, I’m not exaggerating! Okay, maybe a little bit … lol. Those shades are pretty dope though…

MONDAY'S RUNDOWN!

DAMN HOMIE! CELEBRITIES JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO ACT…

What a weekend! I decided to dedicate today’s rundown to our beloved celebrities who don’t know how to act. T.I. got sent to jail for packing more heat than the Al-Qaeda and when he went to his court hearing today, he was denied bail. So there’s no telling when he’ll be released. Foxy Brown, as usual, is being well … Foxy Brown, and decided she wasn’t going to go to court last week. And Diddy got pissed at a dude (allegedly) and two-pieced him in the face. You can read alllll about these three celebrities below, and after the cut!!

T.I. MIGHT BE IN JAIL FOR A HOT MINUTE! » A federal judge on Monday ordered Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I. held in a U.S. jail for at least three more days pending a bail hearing after his arrest on illegal weapons charges. The brief court appearance on Monday was the first time T.I., born Clifford Harris, had appeared publicly since he left fans bewildered by not showing up for the awards, one of the biggest events on the hip hop calendar. He appeared nervous as he was led into court in handcuffs and responded “Yes sir,” or “Yes, your Honor” to questions as Judge Alan Baverman explained the legal process he faced.

Family members, some of whom cried, packed into the small courtroom. “Federal law requires that I keep you in custody pending the holding of a detention hearing,” said Baverman, who set the hearing for Friday. Government prosecutors said they would request that T.I. remain in jail until trial, which they said was standard in such cases. Later, government agents displayed to reporters 10 guns, including an AK-47 and two AR-15s, they said had been found in T.I.’s possession. They also showed the guns and silencers they said he had just received when he was arrested.

“Machine guns and silencers pose serious dangers to our community. The last place (they) … should be is in the hands of a convicted felon,” said U.S. Attorney David Nahmias, adding T.I. could face up to 20 years in prison, if convicted of both counts. [ REUTERS » ] CONTINUE READING

PHOTOS TAKEN DOWN PER REQUEST OF SPLASH NEWS…

Here are the exclusive photos of T.I. and his crew getting arrested yesterday in Atlanta just hours before he was due to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards. So far no photos of T.I. himself have surfaced, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated! Just to clear up a rumor that’s spreading across the ‘net … T.I. was NOT arrested at his home, but he was, in fact, arrested in the parking lot of Walgreen’s. Peep the caption from Splash News below:

An afternoon search warrant was carried out at the southwest Atlanta home of the rapstar and the reported agencies at the scene of the federal search warrant included The ATF, U.S. Marshalls: Fugitive Task Force, Fulton County SWAT, Fulton County PD, Dekalb County PD, and the ATF/Atlanta PD Violent Crime Impact Team. T.I. was not arrested at his home, but later picked up at a Walgreens parking lot. He was taken into custody, along with his long-time girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle (sitting on kerb) and rappers Mac Boney and Young Dro (black t-shirt), who record for T.I.’s Grand Hustle record label. T.I. is not pictured in these pictures, as he was already put into a police car. But his entourage who were also arrested and his black range rover that he was travelling in, are pictured at the scene. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) arrested T.I. in Atlanta on multiple weapons charges, after they say he had a bodyguard try to buy machine guns and silencers.

Judging by the photos, it looks like they rounded ‘em up one-by-one…
