BILL MAHER GETS GANGSTA! » Former Politically Incorrect talk show host Bill Maher got into a bit of a scuffle this week during a live taping of Maher’s current television program, Real Time with Bill Maher, when a rowdy protester interrupted one of his weekly open panel discussions by holding up a smuggled-in sign that read “9/11 is a cover up fraud” and shouted comments to the same effect. Maher proceeded to ignoring the deranged protester’s comments, continuing the panel discussion by implying, “I don’t even know what that f*cker is saying”. Now with the protester’s tone escalating Maher resorts to shouting down the guy with expletives asking, “Do we have some f*cking security in this building … or do I have to come down there and kick his ass!?” When security reached the protester’s aisle and told him to leave the building he did not comply, that is when security attempted at escorted the guy out, Maher jumped up and ran into the seats helping them push the unwelcome attendee out the door, yelling “Out! Out! Out!”
It appeared that there actually was more protest members who were in attendance of the live television show; scattered throughout the studio audience creating more hoopla. Maher, visually upset about the whole situation claimed, “this is the problem with live television.” His regular audience members were surprisingly thrilled at the altercation treating it as some type of Jerry Springer dispute. Ha ha, I have to admit, it was exciting to see — there aren’t many live television shows anymore — we got to see the good stuff! [ SOURCE ] CONTINUE READING
Sorry for my slack this week. I’ve been having some serious internet problems since last weekend. There’s nothing I can really do about it though besides waiting it out seeing as we only have one cable internet service in this area … and they suck!*cough*CHARTER*cough, but anyhow, Britney Spears has been in the news a lot this week, and if you haven’t been keeping up with her, let me help you out in that area . . .
BRITNEY SPEARS TURNS HERSELF IN FOR AUGUST 6TH WRECK »
Britney Spears reported to a Los Angeles-area police station Monday night to be booked in connection with two minor fender-benders. Spears breezed in the front doors the station in the Los Angeles suburb of Van Nuys around 9 p.m. Monday, after declining an offer to sneak in through the back. Hiding a case of pinkeye (ew!), she spent between 30 and 45 minutes getting booked. You know, the usual. Getting her mugshots, fingerprints, etc. “She was fine, cooperative,” said LAPD officer Mike Lopez. “She did her business and came out.” Spears’ appearance at the station was a prelude to an October 25 court date on charges she bumped up against another car while turning into a spot in a Studio City parking lot on August 6. Spears checked out the damage before heading into an adjacent buidling. Unfortunately for Britney, the paparazzi caught the whole thing on camera. I’m sure you’ve seen it all over the net and on TV. Kim Robard-Rifkin, the lady who owns the car Britney hit, reported the incident several days later. CONTINUE READING
The Simmons family are back for another season on their popular MTV reality series, “Run’s House.” Peep the preview above, and be sure to check it out when it hits TV next Thursday at 10 PM EST. I love this show!!
Hip-hop legend Nasir Jones, 34, is completely baffled at recent reports of the supposed “relapse” of his upcoming album, slated to be release December 11th. As you may know, there has been continues claims of [ the label's ] impediment towards the project and even the preposterous rumor of “inevitable” withdrawal. But the emcee insists [1] that you shouldn’t believe anything you’ve heard about Def Jam, or the rumor about him chaning his album’s title for that matter.
“I don’t know where that [report] came from and neither does Def Jam,†Nas stated, early yesterday morning, in a Manhattan recording studio when asked about a recent article published earlier this week. “None of us knows where that came from.”
Nas, now making an example out numerous blogs and media outlets, has added more controversy by changing his album’s name from the term “N*gga” to “N*gger”. -_-
“You ain’t got no business worrying about what the word ‘n*gger’ is or acting like you know what my album is about without talking to me,” Nas addresses the recent remarks made by political advocate Rev. Jesse Jackson among others.
Well, y’all . . . pro/cons? Me, I think I’ve come to the point of ultra liberalness, so it isn’t really concerning/uncomprehending to me. I’m sure there is logic behind this; I don’t think we should pass judgment so quickly. However, you are entitled to your discretion so feel free to discuss in the commenting section if you would like. [ SOURCE ]
Okay, this is surprisingly digestible - you know what - I’m not even gonna lie. I will admit, I was a little skeptical, about this whole Face Off ordeal at first. But so far, all of the recent material I have heard from these two are gold. It is highly likely this will push at least Gold status; citing how Bow Wow and Omarion’s debut collaboration, “Let Me Hold You,” did the equivalent anyhow. And with solid delivery like that, who can complain?
Being a die-hard Trey Songz fan, he already was the “enabler”. So, in essence, I was ultimately looking forward to this kind of collaboration. Seeing how I am also a Jigga fan as well, I was floored. I have yet to believe such a collaboration is possible. Although with the type of production, backing with Jay’s flow, on this track is nothing to mess with, I kind of felt this continuity going in my mind with Trey’s voice so I was not surprise once he made his brief appearance. Usually [rappers] adding to a Hova’s rap is highly unnecessary and almost seems unfeasible in correlation with the beat. But Trey sort of hung in there and stuck it out with the arrangements - I did not get that vibe at all.
This is probably my most favorite collaboration from Timbaland and my most favorite OneRepublic song! It’s too late to apologiiiiiiiiiize! LOL, gotta work on that high note… OneRepublic’s self-titled debut will hit stores November 20th!
