A Group of White College Students Mock the Jena 6 Case!

A group of white Louisiana college students dressed in mud and reenacted the “Jena 6″ assault while a friend snapped photos and videotaped the ignorant act. Images were later posted to one of the participant’s Facebook page. The photos were taken late last month on the bank of the Ouachita River, where students from the University of Louisiana at Monroe giddily acted out the racial attack. Kristy Smith, a freshman nursing student, posted the pictures and video on her Facebook page. The album of images was entitled “The Jena 6 on the River.†In the video, three students with mud smeared across their bodies stomp on a fourth student, while two of the participants are heard to say, “Jena 6.†One man can also be heard saying, “Niggers put the noose on.†Check out a video of the incident (courtesy of THERUNDOWN.TV) after the cut.
And they wonder how this whole “Jena 6″ thing came about…
After the video and photos on Smith’s page were discovered by fellow students, she removed the material and made her Facebook page private. Smith, who did not respond to a TSG e-mail sent to her school address, apologized for the images in several recent Facebook postings, including the one below:
We were just playin n the mud and it got out of hand. I promise i’m not racist. i have just as many black friends as i do white. And i love them to death.
She added in a later message that her friends “were drinking†and things “got a lil out of hand.” I have absolutely zero words for this. It’s not that I’m shocked, because I’m not … but damn! Your thoughts?

First off big up think2wice.org! I discovered it in August & I’ve been hooked since, keep up the work! Im a Jamaican, recently moved to Japan so yeah think2wice.org is being followed & read across the world!
Unto the video, you know I really had to comment, Im new to all this blog ting but it really hurts. These things make you really HATE white people, it shows we are still in slavery and we still are in the Jim Crow era. Its disgusting and sick. Its mos’ definately not funny. For them to even mock it? There is another incident now where they hung nooses and wrote racial notes to a black officer in some town…I saw it on CNN. It needs to stop. We as blacks aren’t running around mocking those stupid white ass people. We didnt go around mocking those stupis white ass boys who bombed Columbine High School in ‘99 and other crazy stuff they do. Why do it to us? That comment she made? F*ck that! They damn near well knew what they were doing by the fact that they recorded it and posted it, drinking or no drinking she sure was f*cking sober when she posted it and if that bitch has black friends, I hope they all dropped her ass of their friends list…Im dont venting..I have so much more thoughts on this…this is just 1 view point….I have no white friends, I dont know anybody white but stuff like this really makes you think2wice about being friends with them….

i find it funny that whenever someone is caught in a racial predicament they always turn and say i have black friends i don’t give a damn about who your friends are!!you can be friends with some one and think your race is superior to theirs. saying that doesn’t make anything better if anything it would make it worse cuz you sure as hell wouldn’t do it in front of them.

Well im from new zealand.. and the jena 6 was even on the news over here.. its like pretty much on the other side of the world haha..! anywho.. dats pretty low.. and i dont think they were drunk.. she probably said that to save her self.. we’ve got heaps of maoris over here as much as pakehas.. but we dont cassify them as “black”.. browns cool.

this is really sad. It makes you realize, that the race issue is still alive and well. Ok…so you have black friends…big whoop. drinking is still no excuse. this is beyond, “Getting out of hand.” They shoud be ashamed of themselves and she should feel ignorant for posting those on the web. Makes you wonder, what people say about when your not around. I didn’t think issues like the Jena 6 were meant to be funny. Guess we all missed that.
