My apologies for the pause in posts the past couple of weeks. I’ve been working on passing on ownership to another site I run since the end of August, and now I can gladly say that Think2wice is now my main priority! You guys are going to notice a big change in the way we update starting next Monday… Just watch ;-) I just ordered a Macbook Pro too, which will promptly arrive tomorrow afternoon, so now I’m MOBILE! PEOPLE ARE SICK NOW-A-DAYZ! » There are reports making their rounds across the ‘net that Halle Berry had to beef up security after receiving racist threats to harm her unborn baby. She’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, whom is white. Recently, she received sickening letters from an anonymous person who has threatened to “chop her baby into one hundred pieces.” The threats, which were sent directly to Berry’s home in LA, are being investigated by police and the star has decided to pay for her own protection. “Halle does not normally use security,” the source says, “but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure nothing happens.” If she had just had her baby by me, all of this could have been avoided! But all jokes aside, that’s some crazy mess right there…

The still untitled debut release is said to feature production from Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis), Kanye West (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson), Chucky “Amadeus” Thompson (Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans), Just Blaze (Jennifer Hudson, LeToya Luckett), Scott Storch (Keyshia Cole, Silena Murrell), Tim “Timbaland” Mosley (Keri Hilson, Nicole Scherzinger), Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot (Fantasia, Tamar Braxton), The Neptunes: Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo (Kelis, Toni Braxton) and Bryan Michael Cox (Claudette Ortiz, Wynter Gordon). The PDD-produced track, entitled “Tell Me,” features R&B crooners Chris Brown and Mario. Although I think having a rapper and two singers on this type of track is highly unnecessary, surprisingly, I’m feelin’ it! Besides, this will be a great look for Chris, he can learned from Mario’s experience; and grow as an upcoming R&B singer himself. And I still think that Chris’ label should have released his forthcoming album the same time as Mario, just to play with it and see, you know? And fuel a good R&B competition, similiar to like what 50 and Kanye had, rather than releasing him during the most anticipating time in Hip-Hop (Jay-Z and Nas). [ THANKS KEVINNNNNN! ]

Beyoncé » “Until The End Of Time (Remix)” » LISTEN » (Full) » Sorry for posting this again, but I passed out last night and when I woke up I had this terrible headache so, when I posted the song – it was sort of “rushed” and I couldn’t elaborate as much as I wanted to. This is the official remix, featuring Beyoncé, to Justin’s “Until The End Of Time”. You know, I loved the original, but I’m feeling the remix a little more so. I felt a sudden warmth, I mean, the vibratos matched perfectly; there were no jumps, skips, etc. in the song, with Beyoncé singing onto a pre-recorded track, the continuity was rare.

Mario feat. Usher ??? » “My Love” » LISTEN » (Full) » “My Love” is like an “unconfirmed” track, as of now, from Mario’s album Go!; it features Usher. If it was up to me, I’d go ahead and include this, it’s pretty solid to me. I’m just so glad Usher is back with new music! And, I checked, this is brand new! LOL, you heard it on Think2wice. (yes that is Usher) CONFIRMED: The other guy in the track IS NOT usher!

This is the official album cover of Trey Songz Trey Day in stores October 2! Following suit is a brand new track, entitled “Role Play,” another solid Bryan Michael Cox production. I think this really will be ‘Trey’s Day’, so far, the material – I’m really getting into. Especially “Can’t Help But Wait,” also — congrats to Trey, it’s doing really well on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
