R&B songstress Keyshia Cole performs the national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner, live at the 2007 NFL Opening Kickoff on September 6th, 2007. Hmm, I love my girl Keyshia Cole, but I think I like BEYONCÉ’S VERSION better … even though I may not agree with some of the things she does – I will always be a fan and she did that shit! Plus, ya’ll know I’m a sucka for live orchestra -_-

    she rushed that all the way through…i wasn’t feelin the choir backing her either…i didn’t like how on some parts of it, it had all these riffs and runs where they didn’t belong and then other parts were very the exact opposite…just boring…i am an avid beyonce fan and preferred hers 100% but when it comes to the national anthem i can get into anyone’s version if done well.

    i wont even compare it to beyonce’s … because thats not fair to anyone lol

    however, if i critique her performance.. it was just alright. Mediocre. She looked nervous, the choir kept throwing her off, she couldnt keep a steady tempo and her runs are lovely in her own songs but did not compliment the star spangled banner. let’s just say… i wasnt impressed at all. still love keyshia though.
