Akon premieres his latest video for the single “Sorry, Blame It On Me” for the re-release of his second studio album Konvicted. Happy Birthday to me by the way, I’m legal, woo whoo!!!

 

The Pied Piper of R&B is getting some major love from the chick he peed on! As the trial date in the R. Kelly child pornography case approaches, the girl allegedly video taped having sex with the the Pied Piper is said to be taking the stand in Kelly’s defense. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the young woman, who’s father played bass for Kelly and who the singer refers to as his “goddaughter” in the liner notes of his TP2.com album, will turn 23 this September. She is set to take the stand and testify that she is in fact not the girl in the infamous video tape. Prosecutors are expected to counter those claims by calling to the stand the young woman’s relatives, friends, parents of friends and others, to testify that she was the girl in the video and that she was about 14 when it was made. The girl and her parents reportedly have told police and a grand jury that she was not the girl in the video. Refuting the claims is the girl’s aunt, former R&B artist and Kelly protégé Sparkle, who confirmed that it was her niece on the video and that she appeared to be about 14 at the time. I can’t wait to see how all of this turns out!!

I am so amped for this Kanye West album yo! My retarded ass might end up buying more than one copy of Graduation just so Fiddy’s ass won’t be able to get the last word. You know how I does! (Lol). Anyhow, a couple of weeks ago, a really dope album cover that was supposedly for Graduation, began circulating, but now there’s another one! I personally like this one better. It looks a little more professional. The other one looks like the single cover for Stronger, just with a different backround. I have a feeling this one (see above) is the real deal! According to an anonymous source, Kevin Federline has filed an order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife, Britney Spears. The documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday by Federline’s lawyer, according to said source. Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago. At the time, the couple agreed to split custody in half of Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months. But a source close to Federline said that Kevin was worried Spears was exposing the boys to “unnecessary risk” and that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, “hopes to get Kevin primary custody.” Hell, in my opinion, being with either one of those douche-bags is a risk!

For anyone who talks ish about my girl Beyonce, please do me a favor and grab a chair, and have a seat. Because for now, this girl isn’t going anywhere! I mean really, it’s hard to keep up with everything that she’s doing! She’s in the top 5 for this year’s best selling tours, she just signed a deal with AMERICAN EXPRESS to endorse their credit cards, and how about she has a new ad out with Emporio Armani! CONGRATS COMMON! » Our boy Common has scored his very first #1 on the Billboard 200 with the release of his new album “Finding Forever!” I think congratulations are in order for this man, because in the 14 years he has been on the scene, he has never gotten a #1 album. Good for him! He deserves it. The Geffen set, which features production from Kanye West and a guest appearance by Lily Allen, sold approximately 155,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Y’all remember that post I made a couple of months ago about this year’s VMAs being held in Vegas? Boy, does time fly by so fast! The show will be held next month in Sin City, and MTV has finally announced who’ll be taking the stage, and who’s in the running for the prized moon men. They recently had a press conference at MTV Studios up in NYC to discuss everything. Kanye performed with his favorite shades, Rihanna was there with her pimp cane, and Timbaland was dodging questions on what he would perform (in addition to making hilarious facial expressions). And Chris Brown apparently “loves his fans.” Check out photos from that right here on T2W, and CLICK HERE to take a look at all of the nominees! Oh yeah, so far, Kanye West, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Timbaland, Fall Out Boy, and Amy Winehouse are scheduled to perform. More performances will of course be announced closer to the actual date of the show, which airs once … and only once … on September 9th! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

On Diddy » “I’d been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Mr. Combs for about 10 years, and it came to a point where it was time for me to move on with my life. I had invested a lot of time in that relationship, and it wasn’t going where it should have been going. So it was time to [end it]. In a relationship, it’s important that the people are on the same page at the same time. And we weren’t on the same page.”

On His Alleged Cheating » “I will never sit here and say that Puffy — or any man — is 100 percent faithful. I just don’t believe it. Some of you are, but I’m not going to sit here and say that I didn’t believe that he cheated on me. I would never say that. I’m aware that he’s cheated.”

On J.Lo’s relationship with Diddy » “It was an embarrassment. I never thought it was real. I knew what was going on with him. When asked if Sienna Miller played a part in her break up, Porter states: “They’re just friends. That wasn’t the cause.”

I’m not too sure about that last comment she made about Diddy and Sienna being “just friends!” They’ve been looking a little cozy lately … if you know what I mean!
