TAKE HIS LICENSE AWAY … NOW! » The 17-year-old son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan was seriously injured last night when he crashed a sports car while speeding along an interstate, police said. Nick Bollea, which is Hogan’s real last name, crashed the Toyota Supra after he lost control and hit a raised median. The car flipped around, and its back end hit a palm tree, Clearwater police spokesman Wayne Shelor said. Bollea and an unidentified male passenger were extricated from the car by paramedics, Shelor said. They were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St.Petersburg. Their official conditions were not immediately available, but Shelor described the injuries of both as serious. Alcohol is not believed to have played a part in the crash, which appears to have been caused by excessive speed, Shelor said. [ NY DAILY NEWS ]

KEEP TONI BRAXTON IN YOUR PRAYERS… » It has been confirmed that Toni Braxton is battling breast cancer. She has secretly been undergoing radiation treatment and chemotherapy, according to the National Enquirer. Mother-of-two, Braxton reportedly received her terrifying diagnosis two months ago, but chose to keep her cancer fight to herself after doctors insisted she’d caught the disease early enough to beat it. And she decided her “Toni Braxton: Revealed” show at the Flamingo hotel and casino must go on too, so doctors have been pumping an iron infusion into her twice a week to combat the fatigue caused by her chemotherapy, according to the Enquirer.
A family source tells the publication, “Toni is a fighter. She initially thought the worst, but doctors assured her the prognosis for her breast cancer is excellent. She still has moments when she gets upset and she may cry a little bit – but those moments don’t last long.”
It’s not the first health crisis for the 40-year-old six-time Grammy winner – she was diagnosed with heart condition pericarditis in 2002 after she passed out backstage at Broadway musical Aida. This woman just can’t catch a break! I feel so bad for making fun of her though, because if you check out her recent performances, she’s sounded very “out-of-breath” and it sounded like she was slurring and mumbling her words. I would’ve never guessed she was undergoing chemotherapy. I hope she makes it out of this okay … it’s good that they caught it early!

Hollywood has been an especially depressing place lately. These two stories, and Owen Wilson trying to commit suicide…it’s been crazy. It just shows you that everything isn’t all parties and glamour. These are real people.

^^ I realized that a long time ago. I’ve always told my sister that if I saw somebody famous in the airport/restaurant/etc. I would just acknowledge that I saw them, then go about my business. I wouldn’t appreciate it if I was trying to have a meal or something and somebody came up to me and asked me to sign a piece of paper.
