As you probably already know by now (especially if you checked out our live coverage last night) Diddy finally picked the band! He upped the number from 4 to 5, and selected the 5 guys above. Donnie’s missing from the group, but he will still be a part of the Bad Boy family as a solo artist. I can’t wait to see these guys take over the industry. With the right promotion, backing, and support from fans, these 5 guys will succeed. There’s no doubt in my mind.

Now, you know our boy Jeff was at MTV studios with the guys last night and one of T2W’s official photographers grabbed a ton of EXCLUSIVE photos for us. You won’t find these ANYWHERE else online! Check them out below and after the cut. And if that wasn’t enough, Jeff is planning on having an exclusive sit-down interview with Diddy and the guys this weekend. Be on the look-out for it!

    I’ve been following the blog for a while now w/o commenting, but since I was so into the show this season, I will officially make this my first comment. [:

    As far as Diddy’s track record for this show & his record label, with the exception of Yung Joc & Danity Kane - kinda, he promotes the crap out of the band for the first album, then after awhile, the band just kind of gets forgotten, and fades into oblivion…never to be heard from again. I hope like nothing else that this doesn’t happen to these guys, especially not Donnie (who’s been one of my picks for the band over the entire season). All of the guys have talent, and there wasn’t really anyone that I felt strongly against being in the group, except Jeremy. He just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason…probably ’cause he was one of the new guys Diddy brought in.

    With all of that said, if I was these guys, I would be wary to sign with Diddy…but that’s just me. I do wish them the best of luck with everything they do, though.

    OK, so Diddy finally picked the group but nobody heard who the fans chose!!!! Diddy’s picks are definitely different from mine, but I’m still glad for the guys who made the cut. Much love to Donnie for impressing The HNIC enough to get his own deal. Can’t wait to see how “Jon B” he gets. Now, on to Danity Kane, who did D. Woods hair? It didn’t look good on TV, but Dawn, on the other hand, has made a turn for the better. She looked great! I’m looking forward to what the whole Bad Boy roster has to offer!!!

    #1, I completely agree. And that season finale was super crazy, I was going in and out of a commas; like literally on the edge of my seat! I initially wanted both Brian’s, Willie, and Robert to make the band, but I’m actually satisfied with this group ^_^

    I’m just so glad that’s over though. I’m so happy for the peeps that made it and I wish them nothing but success - especially Donnie! He was also a favorite of mine.

    hey everybody happy they finally chose a band!! Donnie congrats to him also that is a great he got a deal many blessings to all those men!!! One thing that I wanna say is as far as all the other artist’s on Diddy’s label maybe I’m not listening to the same music as some other people but so far I have heard alot of artist’s from Bad Boy not just Danity Kane and Yung Joc to be honest I really haven’t heard alot of Danity Kane’s song’s on the radio, got the cd bump that all the time.. I see it this way the reason why the “newer” artist are doing better then the other’s or are more publicized then the other’s because of the fan base not Diddy himself he owns the label, right out the gate Danity Kane was going to have the light shinning on them more because of the show.. That is just my “opinion” :)

    I am a little worried about the band because I think Badboy has failed MISERABLY over the last few years. As was stated….Young Joc is the only hope theyve had in a while. Danity Kane for me was a complete failure and with the almost breakup a few weeks ago….i think it says it all…

    I also think it was a mistake to put 5 guys in the group…5 just doesnt work anymore because it doesnt allow for equal shine. I think if u listen to Danity Kanes album you will realise how missing Shannon is from that album. I honeslt picked the group without Big Mike and i think P Diddy did as well. But for the amount of work he put in and the amount of weight he lost he just couldnt be left out. The obvious three were Robert, Willie and Brian A. I think Willie gets in on appeal factor…Robert is just amazing and I think Brian was one of the better singers. I felt sorry for Brian H. cause when they sang exclusive last night he was the one that stood out the most to me but he just didint fit in which is unfortunate. Im glad Qwannel made it though. But for Jordan i think P Diddy is going to try and make another white boy crooner and time will tell.

    Did anyone other than me (and 1 other person) see the way Puffy was looking into Donnie’s eyes on the pre-finale episode? He looked like he was in love. Ugh! I almost fell out of my seat from laughter last night when he announced his solo deal. No big surprise there!

    LOL I knew Donnie had to get something. I didn’t watch the show from the beginning but from what I saw, I knew he was gonna make it. IMO, he’s better off alone.

    About Danity Kane, I just think they picked the wrong single and didn’t even put out enough singles before the release of their CD - which, well, went to the top but only because of the TV show - that was obvious *is guilty of buying the cd and still loving it lol*. But it’s just like Kelly - i’m sure if she was a new singer and had her own show, her cd would have went far but she had like almost no promotion and had one single out before the cd - we’re still waiting for ‘Ghetto’ to be released. *is also guilty of buying this cd and loving it more than DK and still bumping it right now*

    Honestly, I think the band will make it…for now. Of course, they’ll have a hot single and be number one but after that…I think they’ll fade…just like many artists did…what happened to the first making the band…and the second? O.o

    But then again, this is just what I think.

    Oh and I agree with one more thing…

    5 does not work at all! Michael is right…Shannon can be heard no where on that CD! I had to go on AZ lyrics to see if she had any solos and she has a few lines on one song. I say just let D.Woods go act and let Aubrey go join PCD - not like she’s gonna sing there anyway. Just be in the background and dance.

    I’m so glad with the outcome of the band, I still didnt’ understand how he said Dyshon deserves and solo deal but he gave it to Donnie … but anywho. I’m loving the band, i’m officially a new fan.     DeAngelo definitly should have made the band or at least had a solo deal himself… He was consistantly the best on the finale and was singing his ass off… He shined the most on the New Edition tribute and he did good on the Exclusive track… But I kno good things are to come for him so I aint even trippin on it…

    o.k. race has nothing to do with the factor and if you were making a band then that is what you do make a band the grand standing finale just slapped some in the face b cause they all came with the same goal.irregardless since race was mentioned i know Big Bad sexy Mike got more hits from people of color than your boy donnie come on be real black folks don’t have all day to sit at the computer so with that said we know where your boy donnie got his votes and we also know who will buy his music BIG MIKE you can not compare to the boy is Sexy how many times have you heard that sex sells?

    Everybody is talking about DeAngelo, how he should have made the band. Donnie his solo thing, but what about Robert. They all had to sacrafice and work harder and harder to make the band. I think Robert had the best attitude about everything, cutting his hair, the new guys coming in and dealing with how hard it must have been to focus with all of the drama. Robert focused and helped others get their minds right. From the beginning I was rooting for him glitter and all.

    yo i googled to see who made the band cause i live in japan and the finale ain’t been aired yet…yea i kno lame!! butta chea i REALLY wanted brian h. to win cause he was my favorite. im so pissed diddy made him cut his sexci hair off!! i bet he was mad pissed he ain’t make the band. butta chea darn i shouldn’t have looked at the results before i saw the finale…Lol i was jus impacient…but DONNIE got a solo deal?? say word…he ain’t gon get nowhere in my opinion. i agree wit everybody who say BadBoy Records ain’t poppin’…Lol nobody signed to him is good cept yung joc =/

    Im happy wit the group that diddy made ; & im not hatin on Donnie or anything but I tink brian h. or de`angelo shoulda got the solo contract ; brian h. wasn’t treated fairly trought out the entire season of making the band .. we heardly ever heard him sing ; or airtime period . I loved him since the very begging of the show when he auditioned & he has alote of talent & its wrong that the only reason why ppl knew he had talent is because it was on live t.v. & he wasn’t edited out .

    Personally, I feel that Brian H should have gotten the solo deal but I guess that right now the timing just isn’t right. With all of that talent, I’m 100% certain that he will make it. The world will see Brain H. again and know his name and recognize his tremendous vocal ability no questions asked. Go Brian H! Do it big!
