The sight of White women screaming to the sound, music and look of Black men was scary to them and they weren't having it. Elvis was the White answer to all those Black men. His impact is purely racial. Elvis made White men think they could be cool too. He made rock and roll okay. Copying Black artists, sound look and moves.
