They both are very different rappers, both extremely talented, both went somewhat commercial, but honestly I see Kanye definately more of an innovator. Its not easy to stray away from the same ol trash everyone else raps about in their songs, and he’s done that. I think the fact that he wears tight shirts refreshing, because I’m a hip hop artist (who has opened for chicago names like twista) and I don’t feel I have to dress gangsta… But then I get critisized for my “white boy” dress, and am not taken as a serious artist until I open my mouth and show what I’ve got…so for that, I have to give it to Kanye, but they are both great artists, I will purchase both albums, bump 50 before I go to a club, and bump kanye when I’m smokin n chillin, cuz he sez some cold @ss $hit…. Hmm… I don’t know Dustin. In a way, I can see 50 trying to play it off later on “when he does get beat.” But then again, he could be serious about it.

Unless he’s going to try and pull a Jay-Z. Saying how he retired, and then 3-5 years later come out with another album. Cause you know what they say supposedly, the longer you’re away, the more anticipation it builds. Like you gotta make them really want you. Make ‘em desperate. So it could go either way.

Basing on past history records, 50 did mange to sell more than Kanye during their first weeks of release for both their 1st and 2nd albums. But times have changed, and I feel Kanye will take the #1 spot.

Forget that, I’m literally going to buy 15-20 copies to assure 50 doesn’t win. It will feel good knowing that I helped in ending 50 Cent’s solo career. Haha. He doesn’t deserve the top spot.
