Isaiah Washington, who was recently fired from the hit series “Grey’s Anatomy” is speaking out to the press saying that ABC made a mistake in dismissing him from the show. “They fired the wrong guy,” he tells the Houston Chronicle. “I have to clear my name. I’ll start from the beginning. I’m telling everything.” Washington came under fire last fall after getting into an altercation with co-star Patrick Dempsey, during which he allegedly referred to castmate T.R. Knight using a homophobic slur (the “f” word to be exact). He later apologized, checked into rehab, met with gay leaders, and eventually released a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT, even though he was still fired from the show. I wanna hear this!! She must not know ’bout Whitney.
