Sean Kingston » “Beautiful Girls” » MIRROR » (Full) » Hey, ya’ll remember when we first introduced you to a Sean Kingston? Well guy is back with his second single called “Beautiful Girls,” which samples Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me,” that’s burning up the radio airwaves this summer so I just had to post it. It’s like an eclectic fusion between reggae, rap and pop, but very simplistic, actually kind of catchy, funny- yet so true. Anyway, I’m glad us Down South folks are getting some shine, so big ups to Sean Kingston for doing it major.

Fat Joe » “Work (Put It In)” » MIRROR » (Full) » I really, really love this song and like Fat Joe said, “it can only mean one thing, hit mania baby!” I think “Ghetto” is a terrible ass single and she needs to release this, so Kelly if you read this blog, put out “Work (Put It In)” as a single. Trust me, a lot of peeps are really feelin’ this joint, sooo much more then “Ghetto.” But getting off subject (well not really) I recently heard Ms. Kelly and I mean, it’s not a banger album but it’s like maybe two songs I don’t like - the album is pretty decent! So, I will definitely be picking up my copy and supporting this chick, I recommend you do so as well.

Damn, this dude knows how to party! Who else can throw 2 separate birthday parties in the same night? …. Yeah, that’s what I thought! This second birthday party was hosted by Fonzworth Bentley and was held in conjunction with Mark Birnhaum and Eugene Remm, who were also celebrating their birthdays! Folks like Usher, Tameka Foster, DJ Clue, Fabolous, and my baby Gabrielle Union showed up. Hell, even Ryan Leslie let CASSIE out of her hole for a minute to catch some sun! While everybody’s wondering whether or not Paris Hilton is in jail, one man is wondering where his next meal is going to come from. Why? Because he has no job! Nah, I’m just playing. Not about him not having a job, but about him wondering where his next meal’s gonna come from. I’m sure he got stacks on deck without “that show!” Still trying to figure out who I’m talking about? ISAIAH WASHINGTON! That’s right folks … Dr. Barker from Grey’s Anatomy was fired. All jokes aside, I don’t think it’s right that he was fired. People say that kinda shit all the time in the black community. I’m sorry, but the fact is we were raised differently. What may be offensive to another group of people isn’t exactly offensive or “wrong” in another group. Did he mean what he said? I can’t exactly say whether or not he meant it because I’m not Isaiah, but I don’t believe there was any malice or ill-will behind it. Anyhow, he’s a damn good actor so I’m sure he’ll find another job elsewhere. Keep your head up Isaiah!

This party looked so fly we just had to post pics from the inside! It was held at the Louis Vuitton store in New York City. As you can tell from the photo above, it was a pretty packed house, but we did our best to pick out who we thought you should know was on the guestlist. I coulda went to the mofo but I didn’t find out about it ’til Wednesday afternoon! Ain’t that bouta bitch?! I’m moving to NYC … A-S-A-P!

Common folk and blog readers alike rejoice! Paris Hilton has returned to the slammer! A judge today ordered a tearful Paris Hilton back to jail, reversing a decision by the Los Angeles County sheriff to release her and keep her under house arrest after she had served only three days of a 45-day sentence. Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer said that Ms. Hilton will have to serve the entire sentence he had handed down last month for repeatedly violating the terms of her probation on alcohol-related reckless driving charges stemming from an incident last year. As Ms. Hilton was led away to await her trip back to jail, she turned to her parents and said, “It’s not right!” The Associated Press reported.

The hearing had been delayed for more than an hour after Ms. Hilton and her lawyers insisted that she be allowed to talk to the judge by telephone, instead of appearing in person. The judge would not allow it, and ordered a sheriff’s deputy to drive to Ms. Hilton’s mansion in the Hollywood Hills, where she was handcuffed and brought in. As Ms. Hilton was driven back to court, her trip followed by news helicopters, she cried in the back seat of the police cruiser. When she entered the courtroom, where her parents were also waiting, she broke down and sobbed. Sheriff Lee Baca set off a furor in legal circles and beyond when his office announced on Thursday that Ms. Hilton would be allowed out of jail and instead put under house arrest because of an unspecified “medical condition.” The city attorney who prosecuted her case, Rocky Delgadillo, said it was a case of preferential treatment for a celebrity. He asked the judge to order Ms. Hilton back to jail and asked the sheriff’s department to show why it should not be held in contempt of court for letting her go in the first place.

I don’t even like the ho, and even I think it’s fucked up that she was released and now has to go back! That’s just some effed up mess. I know her ass was excited yesterday when she got to go home, and now she has to go back … 24 hours later. They’re just playing with homegirl’s emotions. It ain’t right, but it sure is funny as hell!

I ain’t gon hate, normally I would say Nicole looks horrible and make a joke about her being skinny. But she must be eating! Because she looks pretty good!
