In the video above you can actually see a quick little interview and 50 Cent performing “Amusement Park” rather than running around the audience rambling and giving dap. Obviously the performance we saw on the BET Awards on Tuesday was not how it was supposed to go down. Everything went smoothly in the rehearsal clip 106 showed. But at live the performance, one of the dancers dangling from the ceiling hit 50 and knocked his hat off causing him to “fear for his life.” So he sorta forgot the lyrics to the song on account of him being disoriented and all. One of the perks of a live performance I suppose! Oh well, the performance still woulda been wack … I hate that damn song.

One of the women charged with assaulting and robbing Foxy Brown was released from jail after the rapper failed to appear before a grand jury to testify against her. Roshawn Anthony, 23, was released from Riker’s Island on her own recognizance yesterday but still faces charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny in the alleged attack last Saturday, according to a spokesman for the Brooklyn district attorney’s office. She has denied the charges. Police say Anthony and three other people teamed up to rob Brown of a Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards in the East New York section of Brooklyn.

The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, is no stranger to violence. She pleaded guilty last year to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a fight with salon workers over payment for a manicure in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Brown is on probation in that case. She is also facing a battery charge in another incident earlier this year. Police allege she threw hair glue at a beauty shop employee in Florida when he asked her to leave because the shop was closing. Anthony is scheduled to return to court Aug. 9.

I know y’all are probably wondering why Foxy didn’t show up to court. This is what she said to the NY Post recently.

“A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips,” Brown told the newspaper outside her Brooklyn brownstone Saturday.”

“Patrick and I had a philosophical disagreement that got out of hand and that I regret a great deal,” Washington says. “I said a lot of negative things that were never reported, but there was one word that caught everyone’s attention, particularly someone who wasn’t even in the room with us. It was a fight between two men that shouldn’t have happened. But someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I see that now, but I didn’t then.”

ISAIAH ON GOING TO “REHAB”

“There is no rehab for homophobia—that was just some crap being put out by the network,” he says. ” I went into an executive counseling program which many people in this industry know about and go to. They knew what the program was but chose to call it what they wanted to fit their agenda. And more importantly, I volunteered for it because I wanted to understand my fight with Patrick and how it got out of hand like that. I wanted to know what I could do to avoid it happening again.”

ISAIAH ON THE “F” WORD

“Growing up in the South, I wasn’t exposed to as many different lifestyles and personalities as I could have been. And that’s always a problem, because the more you’re exposed, clearly the more you know and understand,” Washington says. “My mother had several cross-dressing friends who she sometimes referred to with names I’d never use, but she didn’t know any better. There was no hate, just lack of awareness.”

“Well, it didn’t help me on the set that I was a black man who wasn’t a mush-mouth Negro walking around with his head in his hands all the time. I didn’t speak like I’d just left the plantation and that can be a problem for people sometime,” he says. “I had a person in human resources tell me after this thing played out that ’some people’ were afraid of me around the studio. I asked her why, because I’m a 6-foot-1, black man with dark skin and who doesn’t go around saying ‘Yessah, massa sir’ and ‘No sir, massa’ to everyone? It’s nuts when your presence alone can just scare people, and that made me a prime candidate to take the heat in a dysfunctional family.’’

Well, it’s not like we didn’t already know! Besides the fact of him having 5 kids by 2 different women (not too bad), the dude is the epitome of a man-whore. He’s even said it himself in interviews.
