Not a boring moment yet! BET stepped it up this year and lived up to past shows. I’m proud of my people! Anyhow, the next set of awards that were presented were BEST COLLABORATION, BEST MALE R&B ARTIST, AND BEST NEW ARTIST. A lot of people thought that since Beyonce & Jay-Z were nominated twice they would automatically take the cake. Diddy & Keyshia and Snoop & Akon had no chance. But in the end, Ludacris & Mary J Blige took home the award for Best Collaboration with their powerful message-song “Runaway Love.” I’m happy with that. My boy Ne-Yo took home the award for Best Male R&B artist, and Jennifer Hudson walked away with her second trophy of the night for Best New Artist – Homegirl doesn’t even have an album out yet!
