He really needs to get control of T.I.P. before he lands them both in some serious T.R.O.U.B.L.E. ya’know what I mean?? Be sure to pick up your copy of the magazine (article not included here) when it hits stands next month! CONTINUE READING

Introducing Sam Alexis Woods!

Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Woods, recently gave birth to their first child, whom they named Sam Alexis Woods. The baby girl was born last Monday (ironically the day after Father’s Day) and the three recently did a photoshoot that will eventually make it’s way around the web. The kid’s cute! One question though. Is her name short for Samantha? Because it is a pet peeve of mine for parents to name their children after nicknames (Sam, John, Mark, Joe, etc.) I’m just saying…

Who the Hell Does Jigga Think He Is?

This fool thinks he’s everybody’s daddy. Shit’s NOT cool. Apparantly Jay-Z and NFL star Larry Johnson are what they call “roommates.” But I like the term “fuckbuddies” a lot better. It just rolls right off the tongue doesn’t it? Ain’t no way two grown men, who can do more than afford their own places, live together, and be seen as hot in the streets. It’s just not cool. But that’s not what this particular post is about. Daddy Jigga is mad because Larry appeared in Fantasia’s video, “When I See U.” Yeah, that’s right. He’s angry because his butt buddy didn’t follow his “advice” and did his own thing. Go figure. Here’s what Larry told the Kansas City Star:

“Between me and you, he definitely didn’t want me to do that Fantasia video. I definitely got cussed out for that one. He told me there were a lot of things he wanted to do, but he couldn’t do them. He said, ‘You gotta be able to look at yourself as a business, as stock, and the less things you do, the more people will have interest in you. The more things you do, you water down your value.’”

Boys and girls, can you say COCK BLOCKER? I wonder what Julissa and Beyonce think of this “relationship.”

This is Yung Joc’s brand new single, “Coffee Shop” featuring Gorilla Zoe, from his upcoming sophomore album Hustlenomics set to drop August 28th of this year. Shit is whack, the only compliment I can say is that the production is on point courtesy of Don Vito. See the album cover after the cut.

ALBUM REVIEW: T.I. - T.I. VS T.I.P.

Mr. Tip Harris is back with his fifth studio album T.I. vs T.I.P. set to drop July 3rd off his independent label Grand Hustle. The album features guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Jay-Z, Wyclef Jean and other peeps; it also features production by Danja, Just Blaze, and the Runners. I actually think I get the whole aspect of this, he’s basically battling his himself, literally. The person he is and the person he used to be. It’s interesting, this album plays the roles. I really can’t give anything away but it’s a hard album and it has a lot of great production. There are actually a lot of tracks that are potential hits and personally relate to a family member’s life for me. My favorite from this album is “Tell ‘Em I Said That,” this is the absolute truth, ain’t no big shots in reality ya’ll. I hate fake people that live mediocre lives, especially in these cases with rappers, talking about ish you don’t even do or have done.

T.I. Rumbles with Chaka Zulu at Kevin Liles’ “Make It Happen” Luncheon

You can dress ‘em up but you can’t take ‘em out nowhere! T.I. (or should I say T.I.P.) punched Chaka Zulu, who ironically is Ludacris’ Manager, at a charity event hosted by Kevin Liles yesterday that was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel Pool in Hollywood. The appropriately titled “Make It Happen” luncheon, geared towards movers and shakers in the music industry, was attended by Yung Joc, Musiq, Twista, Brandy, actor Omar Epps and guest of honor, actress Holly Robinson Peete. Apparantly T.I. was drunk and being loud when Chaka tried to get him to quiet down, according to an anonymous witness. Yeah, they made it happen alright!

“Out of nowhere, T.I. sucker-punched [Zulu] in the face with all his might. It didn’t seem to affect Chaka ’cause he commenced to throwing T.I. around the room like he was a rag doll. He could have beat T.I. senseless, but he didn’t.”

You don’t need to have a PhD to know that T.I. and his goons left after the scrap. This incident is the latest addition to a history of conflict between Ludacris and T.I. The two have often battled it out publicly, in their music videos and in the press, though their relationship seemed to have thawed recently. Looks like they put it back in the freezer ’cause it’s on again! Y’all please pray that these idiots don’t act a fool at the BET Awards tomorrow. Lawd help us all… Check out some flicks from the event below and after the cut.

What’s good Think2wice? You have know idea how much stuff I missed out on, I’m so late with everything now! Well, if you were wondering about my refrainment from posting it was due to me and my peeples spending time in good ol’ Atl over the past weekend. It was a blast, I had a really good time, but now I’m finally back and stronger than ever! Speaking of which, that brings me to Kanye West’s new video, “Stronger” (we shall have the premiere shortly) featuring Draft Punk and a brief appearance from our favorite “It” girl, Cassie.  Tracey & Babyface Edmonds Finalize Divorce

Court papers obtained by PEOPLE are showing that Grammy-winning R&B singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and his ex, Tracey Edmonds, have officially finalized their divorce. Tracey and Babyface had been married for 13 years. They will have joint custody of their two sons, Brandon (10) and Dylan (6) according to a Superior Court final judgment filed Friday and released on Monday. The other terms of the divorce settlement were sealed by the court. The pair announced in October 2005 that they were ending their marriage. Three months later, Tracey filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have produced movies and television shows together, including Soul Food and BET’s College Hill. They said they planned to continue working together on business ventures.

Divorces can be pretty messy, and I’m glad Tracey and Babyface handled this like the responsible adults they are. They did it Russy-Kimora style! Haha. It’s cool that they’ll still work together on a professional level, especially for the kids.

Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle, and Solange’s Seating Arrangement for the Show!

The BET Awards air tomorrow and it’s supposed to be a step-up from previous years in what they call “The Main Event.” The pic above is a snapshot of one of the many seating arrangements to the now invitation only affair. I feel so sorry for Jay-Z lol. Those girls haven’t seen each other in so long they’re gonna burn his damn ears off! Haha, anyhow, a lot of events are going down as we speak preparing for the show, so we’ll do our best to keep up with them and post them here. Stay clicked!! Anyhow, this set of pre-show photos is from a party appropriately titled “The BET Awards Producer’s Ball” hosted by Swizzy (Swizz Beatz for you kids at home), Bryan Michael Cox, and Polow Da Don at the Royale Lounge in Los Angeles. You know what to do with that link under those thumbnails!!
