‘DIDDY’ CREATES ULTIMATE ALL MALE GROUP IN MTV’S HIT REALITY SERIES “MAKING THE BAND 4″

It’s the return of the boy-band ‘Diddy’ style! MTV’s hit reality series “Making The Band†returns but this time around Diddy creates the ultimate R&B all male group! Fresh on the heels of creating the successful all girl group ‘Danity Kane,’ whose album debuted at number one, Diddy raises the bar and puts himself to the test once again. Find out who has the right stuff to make history and become a part of the hottest new all-male group when MTV’s “Making The Band 4†premieres on Monday, June 18th at 10pm ET/PT. Mondays on MTV will include the premiere of MTV favorites, “My Super Sweet 16†at 9pm ET/PT and MTV News & Docs powerful documentary series “Engaged & Underage†at 9:30pm ET/PT.
After nationwide open auditions with the help of celebrity judges including New Edition’s Michael Bivens, R&B sensation Joe, choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson and superproducer Bryan Cox, Diddy selects 20 of the most talented young men from across the country to live together in a loft in Manhattan. The ultimate singing and dancing competition begins as these eager young men who hail from cities such as LA, NY, Detroit, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando and Charlotte try to impress one of the most successful men in the music business in hopes of becoming a part of the next hot all male-group. They’ll have to learn to live and work together and make it through Diddy’s unexpected tests to see who is worthy of being a part of the band.
Earlier this year aspiring superstars were able to log onto http://makingtheband.mtv.com to upload their singing audition for the world to see. Viewers were able to vote for their favorites. 25 candidates were selected to move on to Round Two, where they uploaded a dance audition. Producers rewarded 3 finalists with the opportunity to audition in person for Diddy. Tune in this season to see if those finalists made the cut.
The previous season of “Making The Band 3†ranked #1 in its time period among P12-34 versus cable competition and reached over 63 million total viewers in premieres and repeats.
Sean “Diddy†Combs, Ted Iredell and Perry Dance will serve as executive producers. Jacquelyn French is the MTV executive overseeing ‘The Making The Band’ franchise.

WTF man. I don’t have anything against the guys, but Diddy needs to get his shit together. Maybe its just me, but I really think Diddy needs to concentrate on his “other” artists before trying to make another group. And primarily I think he needs to concentrate on Danity Kane.
I was disappointed that they only released TWO songs off their debut album. They have some really great songs on there that could’ve been potential singles. But no…
And I read that Diddy and Laurie Ann Gibson got into it, as you saw in the preview. It seems to be a big deal too. He should hire someone like Shane Sparks to choreograph for the guys.
Anyways, sorry for my long ass comment. Overall, I think Diddy needs to stop with these MTB episodes and just concentrate on Danity Kane and his other artists.

OMG!! I LOVE CARLOS!! I also agree with Choua that Shane Sparks should choreograph for them! He is amazing! Laurie Ann is like on drugs or sumthing! She’s so freaking DRAMATIC!! I can’t stand her! & When she had that RIDICLOUS blue leotard, fishnet stocking outfit on, I’m pretty sure half of the guys wanted to throw up!! lol

i think diddy is a conceited asshole !!! he definetely needs to focus on the other bands hes made before goin on and on makin new ones I know and YOU know they were all great !! how are u suppose to make an elimination out of that its crap this band might suck too..they’ll come out with one hit song and that’ll be it …

brian a i love him to death he better not go home deangelo omg i’d marry him and big mike he can sing like hell hes the best singer on the show if diddy makes him leave he some big trouble!! when lewis went home my heart died he could sing he deserved another chance but now things r better for him hes now a member of kwiet storm!

I love BiG MIKE! He has the STRONGEST and Best voice there. Mike learned how to dance and he lost weight! Most of all, he’s a ladies man… ooh when he sings I get goose bumps, He’s hansome too. I really hope he makes it!
