I know we are a little late with this post, I can’t believe I forgot, but recently this month Janet Jackson turned 41 and I would like to acknowledge the fact so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON BEHALF OF THINK2WICE JANET! And many more to come, I know she had a good birthday with her man as well as family and friends celebrating with her, she looks absolutely gorgeous for 41 don’t cha think? Kudos to Janet for keeping up that lovely figure of hers and a solid 20 year career going strong not to mention! In other news, I’m pretty sure you guys probably already heard the news about Janet Jackson Switching to Def Jam and it appears she will be releasing some new material pretty soon so be on the lookout for that, we will keep you posted also.

Here’s another one of those pointless “hip-hop beefs” this time featuring jailbird Beanie Sigel, and he’s attacking Kanye West & Pharrell Williams and their preppy styles. Sad thing is … both of these cats (Kanye & Pharrell I mean) are more successful than he’ll ever be. Do I smell “hate” in the air? *sniffs deeply* Anyhow, I wouldn’t harp on this too much. Just Like You is the highly anticipated sophomore album to be released by R&B singer Keyshia Cole. Reports were speculating that the album would drop on September 18th. Now I’m not sure if this is an official first single, but it features Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliott, from the album or if it will even make the album but I just decided to post it any way because I listened, and I’m really feelin’ it, and not to mention– I see my girl Lil’ Kim is back! Wow, listening to her again takes me back to the “Hardcore” days and such. I also wanted to test out my “Mirror” links, which will make it a whooole lot easier uploading to the masses. Anyway the track is very “grown and sexy,” a Missy Misdemeanor Elliott production no doubt, I think this is a little taste to what we can expect from the singer’s album.

British pop star Amy Winehouse recently escaped to Miami to quickly tie the knot with fiance Blake Fielder-Civil. The singer slipped out of the Shore Club hotel in South Beach early Friday and got married at the Marriage License Bureau on Flagler Street in downtown Miami. The 30-minute ceremony, which cost the couple only $120 USD, was officiated by Deputy Clerk Samuel Calixte. No family members were present. Winehouse and Fielder-Civil, wearing shorts and soaked by a tropical downpour, later arrived at the Big Pink diner on Collins Avenue for lunch with four friends. A post-wedding party poolside at their hotel had to be cut short when the sky opened up again. It is the first marriage for Winehouse, 23, and Fielder-Civil, 24, who have been engaged since April. But here’s the thing … there was no prenumptial agreement! This stunt has surprised her friends and family, and her new husband is apparantly bragging about it. British tabloids are reporting that the new husband of Amy Winehouse has been vocal about the lack of a legal agreement that would stop him from getting part of the Winehouse fortune if the marriage should fall through.

Not a good look, Amy! Next thing you know, you’ll be having two kids 1 year apart… Then you’re gonna divorce your husband and he’s gonna get half of everything you own leaving you to go crazy. Then you’re gonna shave your head bald, go back into rehab, attack a paparazzo’s car (GI-Jane style), and come back on to the scene going back and forth to small clubs lipsynching to your hits. Jessica Simpson has shocked fans by confirming her romance with rocker John Mayer is over. After Simpson attended the Cannes Film Festival solo earlier this week, rumours were rife that the couple’s nine-month romance had cooled. And now US news show Extra is reporting the split is official. Simpson, 26, and Mayer, 29, spent months refusing to talk about romance rumours but confirmed they were an item during a romantic March break in Rome, Italy, where they kissed and held hands. The couple was last seen together at the Costume Institute Gala in New York on 7 May. The split news comes just days after Simpson’s manager father Joe announced he approved of his daughter’s new beau, stating: “I love him; he’s got great music… and he’s a legend already.”

Can’t say that I’m too surprised. I called it months ago … the rebound relationship never works out!

Wheeew, I am so late with this but, it’s here! And there is just so much to discuss. Let me just start with- THIS ALBUM IS DOPE BUSINESS! But I simply can not post all of the songs so go out June 5th and BUY, BUY, BUY, BUY! Surprisingly good, more than I actually expected, there’s a lot of great up tempo songs including amazing production by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake along with Stargate and others. Of course the album features label mate Ne-Yo, “Hate That I Love You” a stringy guitar version of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” in my opinion, and was executive produced by Jay-Z. You probably already remember “Shut Up And Drive,” a pop-rock kind of track that’s slated to be Rihanna’s second single lifted from the amancipated album, Good Girl Gone Bad. Overall it’s one of those records you hate at first but you can’t stop listening to it after the 500th time. Lawd knows when I heard “Breakin’ Dishes” and “Sell Me Candy”? Yeah, that drove me up a damn wall, sounded like a constipated cat, but urrrgh yet I keep playing it. I’d say the album deals mostly with love, which isn’t a bad thing, all the elements of love. And don’t think Rihanna has strayed from her Barbadian background either! I’m definitly diggin’ this new “Good Girl/ Bad Girl” image Rihanna has going on, beautiful melodies with assertive lyrics at the same time. A couple dance groves wouldn’t hurt either too! LOL, there’s this one song, “Breakin’ Dishes” that’s hilarious, “Still waiting, ‘come throught the door’! I’m killin’ time, ya know? bleachin’ ya clothes, I’m roastin’ marshmellows on the fiyah and what I’m burnin’? It’s ya attire!” LMAO! Almost kin to Brooke Valentines’ “I Want You Dead” which I looove! By the way, is she sayin’ she gonna BITE a man or FIGHT a man? Lol, I’ve included that particular song in the posting as well :)
