Another disappointment sad to say, come on M.I.A, this is not good at all! I hope this is not what I’m looking forward to from the new album is all I can say.

I know blogger “J” just recently asked me who I thought will do good this year Chris Brown or Usher weeell, I can’t answer that because they are both great singers with mad talent and I’m sure both will sell equally, buuut I’d have to go with Usher, I’m just sayin.

What the “bloody” hell? (end fake ass English accent) Not even a week after hearing about Eve being locked in the slammer for a minute for driving drunk, Busta Rhymes’ broke ass decides HE wants to join the elite club of drunk celebrities getting caught behind the wheel. Apparantly, he was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in New York Thursday morning. The star was stopped by officers at around 12:40am because his SUV had “overly tinted windows,” but suspected he had been drinking after smelling alcohol on Busta’s breath, police reports have confirmed. A police officer told reporters: “There was a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.”

Busta, 34, was taken into custody on a charge of driving while impaired. His lawyer Scott Leemon declined to comment, stating he would address the matter officially in court. An arraignment was expected to take place yesterday afternoon. The incident marks Busta’s latest in a series of run-ins with the law over the past year. The star is set to appear in court next week on two assault charges dating from February. A representative for Busta has not yet commented.

Overly tinted windows? That’s effed up! They probably had nothin better to do and had to meet that quota for the day and decided to pull him over for some BS like that. Too bad homeboi was drunk though. Just a damn shame…

Halle Berry has been seen shopping for $1000 worth of baby gear, sparking rumours she is pregnant. The actress reportedly spent over an hour browsing at trendy LA store Bel-Bambini, coming away with, amongst other thing, a kimono tee made with soybean fibres and a Swarovski crystal-encrusted hotlips pacifier. Halle, 40, who’s dating model Gabriel Aubrey, 31, has made no secret of the fact she’s longing for a baby.

“Having children is my next big project,” she’s revealed. “I’m planning on becoming pregnant by the end of the year – it’s my age, it’s only natural.” And, according to website TMZ, she’d also be happy to consider adoption. “If it can’t happen naturally,” she says, “Gabriel and I will adopt.”

Why adopt when you can just have a baby with ME? I’m sure Gabriel won’t mind ;-) He won’t have a choice gagged, tied up, and locked in a garage in a remote undisclosed location. But you didn’t hear that from me!

OK, now we’re talking Usher!! Definite upgrade from “Make It Rain”….. I would have never expected this! R. Kelly and Usher– crazy! That is just stark genius. I love this track possibly more than “Ice Box” remix (Usher sung circles around that boy), although some people would favor this single as the “male version of Beautiful Liar.” (how dare you!!) Me on the other hand, I don’t really see similarities, considering this is a HIT R&B track! I was a little worried at first, but it seems like Usher is ready to make a comeback for y’all. Thanks to everyone for the heads up about this, I appreciate you!

KELLY CLARKSON – NEVER AGAIN » YEEEES!!! One of the best videos out this week!! Kelly Clarkson does it again, I love this shit, ever since I heard the single I fell in love! Just listening to it makes me want to go get a mailbox and bitch slap a random mofo, I had an off day today– so let a nigga vent! Anyway, the video is very “Kelly” and so mad crazy yo! I never ever would have thought of this type of concept– the vividness and illusionist images are crazy! I’m so anticipating My December now more than ever, Kelly really is going strong, I must say.

OK, so in this video Ice-T gives his opinion on banning the use of the N’ Word as well as Cam’Ron’s “little” incident on 60 minutes. All I have to say is- THANK YOU ICE-T! Couldn’t have said it better myself, I agree 100 percent!

YOUNG JEEZY – “DREAMIN” » So yesterday Young Jeezy appeared on BET’s Access Granted for his song “Dreamin” with Keyshia Cole, here is the video premiere for his latest single, you can watch it above! I love the concept of the song as well as the video from a certain standpoint, I love listening motivational stuff like this, it let’s you know there’s still hope and not to give up. Believe me it is so easy to just say, “Ok, I can’t do this shit anymore, I give up” etc. But it definitely takes a strong individual say, you know what I can make it and I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. That’s what I love seein’ rather than you showing me all the falsified crap I don’t have or want for that matter, why would I support someone like that? So I will continue to push this type of music to the forefront. I believe Tru Life was on the radio doing an interview and was like, “you can’t be too preachy to people like Mos Def,” and basically it goes over people’s head, especially the younger generation, and I am sadden by this because this happens to be my generation. People want to listen to what they can’t have– they like fantasy. But sooner or later it’s like, time to wake up, time to get back to reality! Everything contradicts itself, another joint that won’t get played, oh the irony of it all.

 

Yes, you are reading it right! This year’s MTV Video Music Awards will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada! But there’s a catch .. it will only be shown on tv ONCE! That’s right, this particular show will not re-air on television. Read more below:

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards are moving cross country to the city of sin to try to pump up a show that has grown tame for its wild reputation. If any city can make you wild again, it’s Vegas. The MTV Video Music Awards have been in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, but they’re taking the show to Vegas this year, airing live from the Palms Casino Resort on September 9th, it was announced today. Unlike past years, the show from the Palms will air once and only once live from Vegas. In past years, MTV has aired the MTV Video Music Awards repeatedly after the first airing, so the “one time only” move is a new addition as well and should make for higher ratings than usual.

In an attempt to make everything on the network interactive, after the MTV Video Music Awards air, viewers will be able to build their own versions of the show with an interactive online customization. Details about that process along with who will perform, what videos are nominated, and who will present, should all come soon. MTV reports that several days of performances, appearance, and events are being planned for Las Vegas in the days leading up to the MTV Video Music Awards. They also report that when they say that the MTV Video Music Awards will take place at the Palms, they’re not kidding. The Pearl Concert Theater will house most of the show, but some of the performances on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards will take place all over the hotel and casino.

This year marks the 24th annual MTV Video Music Awards. The show was broadcast for Miami for two years but returned to New York last year. Los Angeles also hosted some years of the MTV Video Music Awards and, now, Las Vegas marks the fourth city to be taken over by MTV. Last year Shakira, Fall Out Boy, AFI, Danity Kane, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Beyonce Knowles, Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Rihanna, Pink, Jessica Simpson and many more appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards and you can expect just as many celebrities to make the trip to Vegas this year. As for nominees, you never know, but you can expect the list for the nominations for the 24th annual MTV Video Music Awards to be announced soon.

Ya’know? I wanna get excited, but then again I don’t! The last .. I dunno, 5 years have been extremely boring and they’ve been trying to “revamp” it ever since, and so far, it hasn’t been working. Maybe moving the VMAs to Vegas will work this time around .. and maybe it won’t. The only way we’ll find it is to catch the one-time airing on SEPTEMBER 9, 2007!
