New Music From JANELLE MONÃE!

People, if ya don’t know Janelle MonÃ¡e by now– what are you waiting for? Get to know her! Not only from the recent interview I did with this lovely young lady but by taking yourself on a futuristic musically journey filled with classic melodies, rockin’ sound, and funky tunes to the ear; new single “Violet Stars/ Happy Hunting” from Miss MonÃ¡e’s debut, Metropolis Suite I of IV: “The Case,” coming June 1st to be exact! Okay I knew this sounded familiar. I remember first hearing this, I absolutely needed the high quality, I was jammin’ to “Voilet Stars Happy Hunting”! Which you can hear on Janelle MonÃ¡e’s Myspace in its entiety. I see this is as an unique sound and flare fused from the likes of James Brown, Elvis, Judy Garland and a whole other mix of people inspired by her, same with performance.

And this is why I love her!! Artists like Janelle, Dre 3000 or Erykah Badu are free spirits, they’re in their own zone. I laughed watching this, especially when she was dancing living the music, HILARIOUS!!! She is so out the box that many people just won’t get it. She’s unique and I’ma get the album.

lmao @ J. This is wierd. Chante that is what I love about her, she’s attempting to be different, but that does not mean the music is always gonna be GREAT; you can’t just run with everything you hear. Maybe this song has to grow on me, but I’m sorta liking the alternative feel to this track. I hope we don’t label her under the rnb genre all because she is black, because we know how narrow minded black folks are when it comes to art and music, if she is black she has to be a soul singer or sing like whitney. Anywho, I like Janelle monae.

Well, This is um..Diffrent. I dont get it, but The thing is I kinda like it, It scares me to say that ROTFLMAO!!

She is very weird, Does she really expect to sale that kinda music? Or maybe she isnt worried about how it sales.
