BET recently announced the nominees for the 2007 BET Awards (hosted by Mo’Nique) on their site. Bout damn time they got somebody with a little bit more pizazz! I would’ve been happy with Chris Rock or somebody but Mo’Nique is fine– anybody but Damon Waynes or Diddy is FINE! My gurl Beyoncé got that shit, and lawd please let Lupe Fiasco, Gnarls Barkley, Jenifer Hudson, Ludacris, Robin Thicke, Ne-Yo or Ciara walk out with sumthin’ dang… Click Here to see the rest of the nominees! Okay. I love Mo Nique! That is my girl she is funny and keeps it real. She is a good choice to host.
However…the nominations are kinda wierd. I love J Hud, but how is she nominated? Her cd is not out yet.
BET has really fallen off over the years. I grew up when BET was the shit! Video Soul, Midnight Love, Video Vibrations…the music was good and so were the hosts.
Terrance & Rosi are wack as hell and the videos on 106 suck ass.
I will watch the awards anyways…..

I’m glad BET finally came to their senses and went back with Mo’Nique. Cause last year was super dry wit that Damon Wayons character! He’s funny as hell on “My Wife and Kids,” but stand-up is not his thing. This should be a pretty good show..
