I know y’all know who this guy is, especially if you’ve been reading Think2wice for a while. We’ve been following him since his debut as a featured artist on Jay-Z’s “Dig A Hole” from his album Kingdom Come. And now, homeboy has a recording contract with Def Jam records, and is on the verge of blowing up! Earlier today, Mike posted Sterling’s new video Nasty Girl, and ironically, just hours later, my good friend Amina over at Thinktank Marketing sent us an invitation to interview Sterling Simms himself next week! So if you have any questions … you know what to do! Mike will try his best to squeeze them into the interview somehow, if possible… Check out his bio after the cut! CONTINUE READING
Wow, I must admit I am looking forward to this video, Rihanna is workin’ it. I have this song on repeat in my ipod, I love the strings and percussion, the lyrics are pretty good too; can’t wait to see the visual, looks interesting.
This post is dedicated to the Virgina Tech and everyone who lost someone in this horrible tragedy, Rest In Peace. My heart goes out to you! These two songs are a personal tribute to the Virgina Tech Masscre, one each from Jin and Lil’ Flip. On Lil’ Flip’s he samples the 80’s song “Time After Time,” you have to respect this guys. BIG ups to Lil’ Flip, Jin, and Hop for this!!

STERLING SIMMS – “NASTY GIRL” » Yaaay, “Nasty Girl” is a single, I love it! Like I said before, it gives me this Prince vibe, it’s kin to his type of sound. The video is alright, it would have been more if the girls had instruments and just rockin’ out crazy behind him- that would have so dope! I really do wish Sterling the best with his career, he has lots of potential, especially his music. Worth Your While should be dropping sometime later this year so be on the lookout for that peeps! This is “supposedly” the second single from Trey Songz new album, Trey Day, set to drop later this summer. The song is called “Fly Together” featuring Dipset’s Jim Jones. Again, I love songs like this, acknowledging women as like Fabolous’ song with Ne-Yo, I’d definitely recommend this as a single. Both guys did their thing on this joint, I find Trey’s voice so bland on anything he sings and of course you got Jim Jones on the track, real mellow dude. Well, you heard it first on Think2wice, you can listen to it below. Don’t forget to go out and support Trey Songz by going out and copin’ Trey Day when it comes out on June 12th! BIG shout out to Helen ;-)
