Shawnna Leaving Disturbing Tha Peace??

Wow, talk about ironic, me posting this right after the Luda post… But anyway, yeah I guess Shawnna is saying goodbye to DTP, she’s packing up and doing her own thing right now and possibly going solo perhaps?

Jeff Dixon, Co-CEO of DTP Records, says the Chicago bred rapper wasnâ€™t dropped by the label but chose to leave â€œto do her own thing.â€ DTP will make the official announcement on Thursday During the aforementioned press conference, DTP will also announce the return of a familiar face to its roster. Shawnna will still appear on the upcoming DTP compilation album, Strength In Numbers, which will hit shelves in July.

I haven’t even really heard from this girl in a quite awhile now- come to think of it, I haven’t heard from Shareefa, Field Mob, none of them over there at DTP Records, what’s going on over there Luda!? Lol.

I don’t think you should leave D.T.P. because you came so far and now you just want to quit. You came a long way just to quick and for what? I mean I now you want to do your thang on the side but way leave? Thats what I wanna know.

STRENTH In NUMBERS, is ONLY a success when you know your role, position, and respect ORDER!!
I’m willing to bet SHAREEFAH like most trying to get in this business (a dark track record of DIVIDE & CONQUER).
Besides, The style & demeanor of TWO “Hormonefully Imbalanced Females” are way too much ALIKE!!! Which was a BIG MISTAKE, in making room for “Mistaken idenity, Tension, & Jealousy” on the DTP roster.
In her public bio, she boasts that TEDDY RILEY, had the grand opportunity of signing her first. Maybe LUDA should have been smart, to ask TEDDY his reasons, of not signing her? Instead of FULLY trusting any story a desperate artist, trying to get in the door, has to say!!
