    is it just me or does this video look like a mix between greenlight and suga mama? (latex and point shoes /glitter confetti in the sky???? Rihanna needs to stop trying to be BEyonce. She is not as talented and as glamorous and sexy. sorry.

    I actually like this song too. It is a little off and that makes it push the limit. I like that especially with all the same look alike songs out there.

    I also like kelly rowlands new song too. Makes me want to buy an iPod just so I can rock these 2 songs over and over.

    I’ve always loved Rihanna and her songs, she’s so sexy. I’m sick of people criticising her or saying she copies Beyonce, she has a whole different style and Jay Z is involved with alot of what she does so ever stop and think thats why a video might be similar or whatever? Some of you people talk like you actually know her and are judging her for shit that you have absolutely no proof of, like that she is trying to steal Jay Z, stop reading tabloid crap and get a life.

    I’m just wondering, does anyone know if Rihanna ever took ballet, more specifically pointe? I love the video and the song… don’t get me wrong, but I hope she took some lessons before going on her toes, her ankles look sickeled at times and when on pointe that could ruin your ankles.

    i love this video, i love the song, and i love rihanna’s voice but
    i do not find this common trend of dancers “en pointe” in many recent music videos “amusing”
    if one does not have the training one should not sell the image of having it
    i was misled by this video
    i saw it and because of myself being a dancer (ballet) ,at first glance, i was impressed.
    dont get me wrong i was not impressed by the moves but rather by how multi-talented rihanna seemed, i guess she still is multi-talented to some extent
    but once i began looking at the pictures of her en pointe and i began looking at other music videos with girls en pointe, i was upset
    i mean…..they had no training what so ever and it shows
    it shows in their inability to stand up without holding on to something, it shows in their leg muscles, it shows in how when they attempt to do moves that r “sexy” they have trouble getting up and keeping their upper body frm nearly falling towards the floor…..etc.

    i dont kno y it upsets me so much
    it just does for some reason

    i guess i look at it in the way that
    i am not a great singer and i have never been formally trained in music
    i do not sing when i dance(ballet)
    so they should not dance(ballet) when they sing

    I love Rihanna But does she really dance? those are the questions that haunts me. I take pointe and its not easy!! in the video when she dances on the pointe shoes they just take a glance at her and then they look at her feet so she could be holding on to something. but if she does dance you know I can see her doing that without holding on to anything
