Disney Star “Orlando Brown” Arrested for Drug Possession!An actor in the Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven television program is free on bail after he was arrested early Tuesday and charged with marijuana possession. Orlando Brown, 19, who plays Eddie Thomas, the best friend of star Raven Symone on the popular show, was arrested after police pulled him over about 1 a.m. in the 4200 block of Westheimer. The officer stopped the 1992 Acura Integra that Brown was driving because the headlights were off. During a search of the car, the officer found the marijuana on the driver’s side door. Brown, in an interview, denied that the marijuana belonged to him. Also a singer and rapper, he said a friend lent him the car to use during his stay in Houston to make an album. Brown said he thought the car’s headlights were on when the officer pulled him over. Brown was taken into custody without incident and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession. He was released on bond. In addition to the Disney Channel television show, Brown has appeared in several movies, including Max Keeble’s Big Move and Major Payne.

“I didn’t know what was in the car. That’s not what I do. I consider myself a youth activist,” he said. “I don’t want this (arrest) lingering over my head,” Brown said. “I love what I do. Why jeopardize what I built?”

Yeah, yeah, yeah .. prove your innocence and what-not. I don’t doubt that you’re not guilty or whatever, but damn son! What the hell were YOU doing driving a ’92 Acura?! You’re old enough to take ya ass to a car rental place, and rent yourself your own whip! Shame on you…

    First of all to whoever wrote the above comment: you must be either 21 or 25 years old to rent a car anywhere in this country so no, he didn’t have to go rent a car. Second of all, who cares what he was driving or how much makes. People that have even the tiniest bit of wealth, or any association with some organization like Disney (who buy the way has pumped out some of Hollywoods most disturbed youth i.e, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan) are trampled on by the more ignorant or jealous people around here. One of your neighbors that you believe to be an upstanding citizen could very well have a criminal record that would make your hair curl. Maybe the pot was his, maybe it wasn’t but we all make mistakes and it was a charge of possession not intoxication so he could be telling the truth. Either way mind your own business because the kids at the local elementary school are doing far worse every day, go worry about them instead.

    I agree with Tonya. in this country, you can only rent a rental car if your age 21+ . Also in this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty. The only thing we know he’s guilty of is not turning on his headlights. He very well maybe telling the truth. And maybe he’s lying and because he’s an actor he’s more off the hook than, say, a teen who goes to a regular public high school coming back from his senior prom.

    But we have no say or decide in whether he did it or not. So all of the people above who wrote something like “he did it he deserve it lol!!!” should just shut up, because it’s none of your buisness, anyways. He’s famous and when your famous the media jumps on any mistake you make during your career.

    Also, if you want to prove your point, type correct English. It makes you slightly less of an idiot. And don’t use lol, because, guilty or not, it’s NOT funny.
